| Sure its plot, but is there any other reason why a 22 year old cold case would appear on the front page of the newspaper? So Worrick is a gigolo who rescued a girl he didnt know from prostitution. Interesting. |

| I'm definitely buying the manga. I'm in love with this anime, oh my god. I can't wait to see how it all pans out. I think Alex is going to go through a big change; if she decides to stay, maybe she'll get used to all the gore and even participate in killing? I mean she shot her abusive boyfriend's (?) dead body several times when she found him. She's shown herself to be capable of violence. |

Even a younger Nicolas was deadly. Extremely curious how those two ended up best friends after Nic murdered Worick's dad.  I like that Worrick's a gigolo, just cause that's not something I often see explored in anime. But did he really start being one at 13? That's a little too young, bruh.  Interesting flashback. I may have figured out a few things from it. |

| The best episode so far. It's much more character focused & no unsubstantial action. More of this, please. This anime really has a great directing. Really impressive. This is a top tier directing. | Absolutely loving this show. Nic is precious and the flashback at the end...interesting very interesting. Looking forward to a proper flashback episode. And wow...Worrick's a Gigolo, didn't see that coming. |
| Good episode. The back story on Worick gets interesting, though we still know next to nothing about Nicolas. Prostitutes hate the tags, but Nicolas holds no grudges, I'm betting it has something to do with the fact that Big Mama was hosting the sick/dying girl. Cannot wait to find out what THAT story is all about. I see they're mixing and matching the manga chapters into the episodes as they see fit. Not gonna complain much because the overall story is still coherent. Cannot wait till the next episode. |

| Holy shit this episode was sooo good. I love this anime. So Worrick also works as a gigolo, huh...he has the looks and stuff, but didn't expect him to do such work. We also get to know some backstory of Worrick and Nicolas, which was quite confusing. Does that mean that Nicolas was one of the men that killed Worrick's family given that it was actually him? And if yes, do both know that? I loved the scene when Nicolas was in the sick girl's room. It was so beautiful. |

| Oh boy, they do love to tease us with little bits of flashbacks & backstory. And to make it better, we see & learn more about Worwick & Nic, and about how things work in Ergastulum in general through Alex - she's the eyes & ears of the audience. This step-by-step exposition is also great, avoiding excessive info dumbs like certain other shows do... |
| Man, I'm really loving this anime. It's gritty but not obnoxious about it. And the two leads are very interesting, especially Nicoloas, I also like they took the extra step with his voice acting. I'm so excited to learn about their backstories. This is such an elevated and better version of Black Lagoon. |

| Great episode, Alex is still lost about the work of Nicolas and Worick, and the more she tries to learn about them, the more doubts arise, mainly about their past, I hope more action in the next episodes, and things get even more agitated .. |
