That was lewd
I guess the show is trying to bring a bit more fun. Now that they are a couple, it looks like Isla and Tsusaka are no longer embarrassed like before when being together.

Last date for them this episode. They are far less nervous as I had expected again.

Isla so happy :3

Yeah, the core of this series is their relationship. Or rather, it explored human emotion coming from a biological android with their own will. Glad to see that Isla lived her life at her fullest. 7.5/10. I wish they would shown more of that kiss on screen D:

I made a short review of the anime if anyone is interested:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxevUABrN-w
I'm not sure if I should be happy or sad about the ending but at least their love lasted to the very end.

Bittersweet ending, the love scene on the ferris wheel was perfect and I really liked seeing a happy Isla. Tbh I expected a little more drama but both were very strong the whole time, especially Tsukasa who obvioulsy suffered the most.
On the one hand I really liked the last episode but on the other end I hoped so much for a happy end, a miracle but there wasn't any ^^

Well at least they meet again and the end but it was pretty clear that this show gonna be an utsuge. An asspull miracle would have ruined the show.Maybe she can recover some of her memories from the Diary but we will never know.

Isla can die or live for all I care, this has been an uninviting and underwhelming journey, even if I try there is hardly anything I can find that makes me want to say "this anime does this thing well", the lasting impression probably would be just another "feel the feelz" anime yet devoid of real human emotions, but when you marketed it this way there's no need to pay much attention to create an unique world, characters and story, you only need tropes, easily identified stereotypes that has already been proven to be popular, sometimes I don't even know if they are being conservative or it is the best they can do.

This show really likes to show the childlike and innocent side of Isla, to the point I don't think she is more mentally mature than a quiet and shy12-year-old girl, in other shows like Anohana at least the heroine is paired with someone close to her age, so even if she is a little girl that is fine, but here she is dating a young adult, and I don't think the makers realize this problem, they probably think since this is Isla's love story who cares about the male protagonist. Wherever sells.

What a nice theme park staff! "You go call the cops, I'll trap the lolicon once he enters the cart."

There are many emotions that can be confused with genuine affection, especially if you have no experience in exposing yourself to these emotions like admiration, compassion, sympathy, fear of loneness, lust, infatuation etc. For Tsukasa who cares if he is really in love with Isla, I guess most of the targeted audience already forgot Tsukasa at this moment, but can you really say Isla loves Tsukara because of the reasons she mentioned? She is an android so sexual attraction may not be a factor to her but seriously how real this "love" can be based on what we've seen, the best I can think of is Isla treats Tsukasa like a good friend, may be a brother but not a lover, I'm not even sure Isla knows what she is talking about, just because the story said so doesn't make it sounds right.

At the end I enjoy Punchline more because of the visuals, now I know the capability of these visual novelists I can only say, "better lucky next time." Next stop: Charlotte.

Oh yes, I called it, their first kiss is also their last kiss.

Wow, amazing! What a great example of utter garbage. It's not even a solid 1/10 as giving this a whole score of 1 pains me. At best it's 0.5/10 for that first episode and OP song.
One of the worst series I've seen throughout my life.

no surprises with the way it ended. . started out strong but got abit boring after first 3 ep. ending was okay i would say,it was way to predictable but atleast it is an end to a story..many shows fail to deliver on that. 7/10

The build-up to the retrieval was better than the retrieval itself. Amazing stuff beforehand, i really felt uneasy.

Don't tell me that this was Isla at the end? Probably not cause Tsukasa would have reacted differently to that.

Strong 7/10, it didn't quite deserve the 8 at the end, but it was still a good series.

The moments Tsukasa and Isla spent together in the final episode were the best in the series. Both of them were so happy with each other and they love each other dearly. And both of them stayed strong till the end. But it was not easy holding back the tears. Their final moment together was in the ferris wheel and that was a clever choice for the final parting. Hahaha, my heart... This series crushed it...

Plastic Memories was great and I really love Isla so much! <3 But in the end, I have this feeling I know who Tsukasa's newest partner is...

Such a beautiful episode & great series. I wish they would have had an ass pull ending where Isla didn't get retrieved cause it felt like my heart was ripped out & stomped on during the ferris wheel ride. Haven't felt that way since Clannad. 9/10

Last date was cute, which inevitably turned out to be bitter at the end. Ferris Wheel scene could've use some BGMs.

Very predictable ending, but it was a decent watch overall. At least, it wasn't as melodramatic as I expected it to be.

And so the tragic love story ends. This series was definitely the most emotionally devastating I watched this season. Before the season began, just from reading the synopsis, I figured it would end up like this. I really don't care much for tragedies so it was a last minute decision for me to even watch this. While I was hooked by the end I still found the whole premise of giftias and how they're handled rather difficult to buy. Too often I found myself annoyed by the idea that humanity could develop such things and let them be parents of young children, or love interests. It wasn't like having a spouse with a terminal illness, it was entirely man made and thus preventable. It just felt cheap. Despite this I was rather moved by the core relationship in the end as said. 6/10...sniff...Non Non Biyori's new season can't come fast enough! :D

The new partner scene really fitted the title of the episode. If "Isla" isn't there, there would be absolutely no chance for Isla to ever be reunited with the ones she loves.

Couldn't hold back a few tear drops throughout the episode. Just seeing the two enjoying their last moments together was bittersweet enough to induce a few tears.

The Ferris wheel scene :/

Though predictable, it doesn't hinder any enjoyment at all. In fact, it might make it all the more powerful of an ending, just in a slightly different way.

Plenty of fun and cute moments, perfectly blended with some drama every now and then. Enjoyed myself more than enough for an 8/10. Feels weird how I remember that I cried more in episode 1 than this episode.

Whatever happened to building up meaningful bonds BEFORE you decide to be in a relationship?
As far as romance goes this was kind of pulled out of my butthole and a lot of it came across as 'I want to date you because I pity your situation'.

Meh.

This series started well then it went to hell when Isla and Tsusaka started dating.... Too cheesy IMO...

Also, a relationship with an android doesn't make sense in this series. I mean, giftias cannot entirely be consider to have their own will. I mean, they are still a property of somebody. It is not like they can really choose their owner and their task. They are still program to obey orders.....

Damn some scenes melted my heart from cuteness <3

Loved the scene they were saying the things they liked about eachother. The way they didn't use any music made it just much more impactful like a build up for the inevitable ;_;

Glad they kissed at the end. Really such a sweet ending :*)

And they didn't even show the face at the end XD Like we can't guess :P

8/10 for me.

And there's no satisfying people <_< If they made her remember they would've said "Predictable end" if they made her not remember they'd still say Predictable. There's nothing other than that bitches.

The bland characters and setting never really interested me in this series, much less got me into the emotional rollercoaster it had going. However, it pleasantly showed a lot of strong feelings this last episode, albeit it ended so concretely. 5.5/10

Well he did have nine months to put his thoughts in order.

Think i remember in one of the episodes someone said that Terminal Service reuses their Giftia's after they expire to keep costs down low, so they would just reload a new OS just like the option they give their clients when they go to retrieve.

He knew she wouldn't be Isla when he came face to face with her body again.
so in the end he accepted that and met with his new partner with a clean slate.
