| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lol, the drama of this episode was amusing. Kousaka still retains her cold and casual self while Hazuki seems to be conscious of Tsukamoto. Speaking of Kousaka, she looked great this episode at night in her dress:  Breather episode I guess. With all the practicing and stuff going on, I think this was needed in a way. I don't think Tsukamoto is ready for a relationship yet though especially with his response. Also, I loved the coloring and visual quality of this episode especially night. The bonding between Kousaka and Kumiko imo was refreshing. |

| I had a grin on my face throughout all of this. Even though it didn't work out for Hazuki she handled it like a champ. Loved seeing Reina and Kumiko grow closer too. And how adorable was Kohaku!? :D Strangely nice feeling episode, but now, at last, the auditions! |

| Asuka's poetic way of expressing the essence of the piece they were playing was hilarious! She keeps getting less screentime by each episode, which I'm not so fond of. I like how Kumiko held someone's hand on impulse to avoid going with Shuichi and it was none other than Kousaka. Rather than coincidence, I'd like to think of this as fate. That Yuri tension between them though, especially when she ran her finger on her face.. Just get together already! >.< Poor Hazuki.. She mustered up all her courage to ask Shuichi out and even after being rejected, she was willing to hook him up with Kumiko. Really felt bad for here there.. Good episode. The piece played at the end by the KXK duo was nice too. At this point, I won't mind if this becomes a Shoujo Ai. :3  |

| The scenes with Kousaka were so incredibly good. I'm just out of words to describe them. I guess I will just replay those scenes 10 more times. Kousaka is perfect. 10/10, she makes the show for me, especially when she is with Kumiko, that's when she truly shines. And that confession was so out of nowhere... wasn't expecting it to happen so fast. It was obvious she would get rejected but I guess it was a nice try. |

| I did not expect such an amazing episode! The whole ending scene with Reina and Kumiko... their entire talk + the OST + the song they played at the end + showing Hazuki's reaction... brilliant! And I'm sure I don't even need to comment on KyoAni's brilliant scenery~ |
| Man I love that hallway scene with Kumiko, Reina, and Shuichi. The way you can sense Kumiko's slight hesitance following acceptance of Hazuki through Kumiko's subtle expressions, movements, and footsteps was so sweet to see. There ain't no undertones in this Yuri garden. Fuck Sapphire and Sappire jr. are so fucking Kawaii. So I have a question, does anyone know when KyoAnus and its directors started with the wave of (pseudo-/semi-) Yuri/yaoi themed shows? Like was it K-on that started the appeal for a tiny bit, then hinting a tiny bit in Chuuni and Tamako market, then finally manifesting the undertones a bit in Free! and Hibike? |

| Lol her crush lasted 2 episodes, LOL! Kousaka definitely candidate for best girl award. I definitely get where she is coming from, I dislike people who try fit in a certain group, it just isn´t fun when everyone acts the same way... I hope Kousaka gets more screen time, love her dialogues and specially her interactions with Kumiko |

| Ooooh man,this episode. that was really nice When Kousaka said she doesn't hate pain and Kumiko was like "what the...that's kinda eroi" i screamed (inside my head bcz sleeping roommate but anyway...) And somehow i ended up with a new ship in my fleet,welcome. (Kousaka thinks a lot like me,hah) |
| Amazing episode. Shuuichi is in love with Kumiko, but Hazuki is in love with Shuuichi lol...got resolved at the festival. It felt a bit rushed that Shuuichi has a crush on Kumikl and that this whole love triangle got resolved in only one episode. The mountain scene was beautiful, despite having some shojo-ai vibes. Reina's character got more development and both Reina and Kumiko's relationship to each other got better. |

| Here's hoping there's no stupid love triangle between Hazuki, Shuuichi and Kumiko. I'd much rather Kumiko remain with Reina as best friends (or a romantic pair, either way really), and Hazuki get with Shuuichi if they do plan on pairing her with someone. |
| Well the confession was rather fast. I didn't expect she would say it that soon to be honest. But I guess better to let it out as soon as possible before you regret anything. Also didn't expect that Riko-senpai and Goto-senpai are together, somehow they look good together XD And oh my, Midori's little sister was so cute!! All these moments between Kumiko and Reina... If they are not together by the end of the series, we riot! That scenery at the end was so beautiful. Good animation as usual. Brilliant to see. |

| I don't think I can ship Reina and Kumiko any harder than I do. Really, this episode was perfect. I like both of their characters, but when they're the best when they're together. I liked that aloof side of Kumiko from the start, but Reina really grew on me the last few episodes... What I like about her is that a lot of people want to be special, but she actually has the guts to BE special, to BE different instead of worrying if she's the 'right, accepted kind of special'. And poor Hazuki. Though we could see that coming. |

Can you imagine someone actually doing this in real life? O_o Reina is like a stark contrast to Haru from "Free!" in terms of goals but shares the same personality.  I have no idea what the Snow Maiden story is but I wonder if she meant by "The Snow Queen" fairy tale. |

No, Kumiko is referring to the "Yuki Onna", or "Snow Woman" of Japanese mythology. Pretty much, beautiful supernatural beings that end up getting you killed by the cold if you follow them. This is why Kumiko keeps saying she wouldn't mind losing her life or getting sucked in. |

| Pretty interesting episode if i might say so. And i am mainly referring to Kousaka and Kumiko they had a very interesting conversation and i have to say they look somewhat similar in personality. They might get along very nicely tho i have to say it almost look like shoujo-ai at one point. I really would like to see more from the two together. Kumiko being called hentai was a funny part, tho she called Kausaka ecchi before that. |
| the scenes between reina and kumiko felt really natural for some reason, i was hoping for a confession from reina at the end tho, mainly because i felt like it would fit or rather something that seemed more realistic. alot of anime always hint to girl+girl but turn it into comedy relief or very tsundere crap. so i hoped this would turn into something realistic. |

| Shit this was AWESOME. I don't know where to begin with. Reina is a BOSS. Shit by the time the episode finished I wanted Kumiko to call her REINA-SAMA and be head over hills for her :V Too bad she likes the retard that replied to a confession with "uughhh, ok, yeah". Poor Hazuki :< Saphires little sister was adorable too. That hug at the end felt so emotional too although I believe most people wouldn't even notice it. All in all perfect episode. Hope for more Reina in the following episodes. Also : BOSS BOSS BOSS |
