| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Hmm, this episode establishes the fall of the Queen which was probably obvious by the events in the story. Other interesting thing that I found about this episode is the boy soldier that once kidnapped Arslan makes his return (disguised though) looking for Lusitanian soldiers. Some decent buildup for Arslan's group as well imo. Pretty awesome to see Falangies in action at the end with her archery. What a boss~  |

| Feel so sad for the Lustania boy. He doesn't know that all his comrades had already been killed...... And I knew the Queen was no good, what with her always calm demeanor and careless attitude toward Arslan. Arslan still as lovely as ever~~~ Really one of my favorite character this season. |

| And the new girl finally appears, awyeahhhhh. The burning of the village and people was quite harsh there at the end. I honestly can't wait until they pass the currently translated parts of the manga. |

| Looks like the queen is safe (sort of) for now. Loved Gieve in this episode. lol at him trying to hide his gold XD The little fight scene was pretty awesome :) Dat preview got me hyped for the next episode! |

| Wait, so the Lusitanians who believe that all men are equal are being ruled by a king...alright, while of course there would be some form of a leader you would think following a monarchy kinda contradicts with their beliefs (well not like they really care as shown that the slaves still haven't been freed and the Lusitanian soldiers are abusing their power). Lol at how Gieve starts hiding the coins he got from looting as soon as Farangis complains about people looting temples and abandoning the capital. Also I thought the Queen had escaped (yes I know the Silver Mask guy was able to capture her) but then what's the point of having Gieve escort a fake Queen out of the capital then? Other than I'd assume to distract the enemy while the real Queen makes her escape. |

| Well-played, Hanae Natsuki. For a second there (okay, more than a second), I actually thought that girl with the braid was an actual girl. And Gieve hiding his stolen treasure like a ninja to impress Farangis - hilarious! Glad to finally have a bit more comedy to this. That last scene with the village-sacking still leaves that usual morbidity nonetheless. |

| Now that is a truly charming king, one more fitting than Andragoras to control this prosperous land. Giving all the riches to the religious leader, empowering and sharing political power, oh such great faith and loyalty to our god! I oblige to thee, the fairest of kings in our glorious history. Looking forward to the coup already. Nice to see the boy being a man of his words, seeking out his fellow countryman slaves and also putting up a good fight. I feel bad for the slaves, but I do look forward to the slaves being a part of Arslan's strategy to retake the kingdom. The job to free the slaves, it would be quite the sight. Gieve and Farangis seems like fun characters already! Gieve pushing his loot back xD Kharlan and his men's actions are truly despicable, though I am enjoying how with his personality and actions, he can never truly find internal peace. |

I was first trying to watch Owari no Seraph (which is also under NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan/Geneon) when I first saw it. I had to exit it and skip to the middle, but it was the right file. Thought my video player just screwed up. But it turns out Universal Studios bought Geneon ages ago, and became what's currently known as NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan. Though no one knows why they chose the to change the logo in the beginnings of their anime right in the middle of the season. |
| Good episode. So Étoile is actually back, which was a bit surprising since I thought that he'd probably never show up again. Lol at Gieve going after the woman and trying to make her indebted to him. And Arslan's bold decision piqued my interest. |

| falangies looked much better here than in the promotion art. something seemd off about her face that was fixed in this episode pretty good episode hope kharlan finds a miserable end and as expected lusitanians are no better to the slaves, probably worse |
| Lusitania's Monarch Innocentis VII doesn't look so innocent with that huge tummy. But I suppose his blush after seeing Tahamenay somewhat justified his name? No? Oh well.. Etoile coming back to rescue his fellow countrymen was nice to see, although he didn't find any. His fight against Elam was pretty cool! Gieve got wrecked by Farangis so bad! Firstly, got ignored and secondly, being accused for the lack of originality. Really liking these two! Decent episode. I think we'll finally find out why Kharlan betrayed Pars next week. |

| Falangies show up and man is she beautiful. This episode is meh since nothing really going on. Kharlan is a scambag, well he got treated like sh!t too lol. Hopefully, MC and his gang kill Kharlan and his men. |

Personally, I'm a fan of either ArslanxEtoile or ArslanxElam. Also GievexFarangis is the real deal. She can keep that trashbag in line. Pretty sure Etoile is male though? I wasn't entirely sure when I read the manga but I'm definitely getting dude vibes now. It would be pretty cool if Etoile were a girl, like crossdressing is always fun and all (I am no man! *kills witch king*), but I don't really see it. |
