| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That was amusing. Episode started with Tomeo being a badass as usual. Really great to see the characters back though. And right now, I think the OP song is pretty catchy. The episode imo was cute though especially at the end there with the pat on the head >Perfect synched parade. Gotta love that embrace <3 I found this scene cute near the end:  |

| yeeii!! Finally it started! The opening scene gave some impact. I want to learn more about the other guy and why Tomoe disappeared like that. In the OP the only fun thing was the Mamorou dancing before transforming lol The episode overall was good. Nice 1st episode. |

| Nobu's character appeared early! I thought he won't appear as much this season! lol @ calling that onee god "oji-san, obasan". Shikigami, huh. Oh, it's the monkey from the PV. Training to be useful to go to Izumo is hard with Tsuchigumo. With her giving the monkey the name, his power to purify is given so they can help Tomoe. She finally passed it. OP and ED are both nice. By the way, I'm surprised at early posts (3 hours ago). Did you watch pre-air ver? I watched on live-streaming, so it was the official TV broadcast time. 2:35 next, delay so soon? |

| You pass! Lovely first episode. Lots of Tomoe and Nanami scenes. It was a fast first episode but it's purpose was satisfied. Reintroduce the overall theme, introduce the arc coming up, new characters, and, most importantly, the relationship parameters of Tomoe and Nanami. |
| Nice to see this back :D I wonder how far in the manga they're gonna be going this season :3 Felt slightly fast paced so could they be planning to go to the Tomoe flashback arc? Well Akuraou/Kirihito is already shown and from the pv looks like he'll play a main role so should be fun ^^ TomoexNanami Romance was cute as usual <3 Tomoe's already so much in love XD. Art looks fresh and the lines seem thicker than S1. Looking nice :) Nice OP & ED too. Reminded me of S1 which I liked quite a lot :3 |

| If I hadn't read the manga I would say it's a very satisfying episode. It actually is, lot of things happened in it, maybe too much even. It felt nice seeing Tomoe, Nanami and Mizuki animated again. But did they change Onikiri's and Kotetsu's voice actors? I liked the previous ones. I'm really satisfied with the opening and ending too. The opening is cute as hell, I'm glad they kept the same singer. But, I've read the manga and this episode was so damn rushed. I don't remember how long the test took to Nanami in the manga, but it was so much longer and I was really surprised they Overall, I really liked the episode and how it started immediately. |

| Ah~ A great start to the second season. Liked the OP and ED - especially how they put it together (Tomoe, Kurama, and Mizuki dancing like that :3) And Nanami passes! Good job~ Mamoru's so cute. Tomoe looks like he's going to be regaining some memories there. Can't wait to see that. |

| This first episode disappointed me. Why they decided to rush this arc and I hope they just really wanted to start with the next arc and this was just a one-time thing. (At least it got a second season so I can't be ungrateful haha) Ignoring the manga this episode is okay. Love seeing the characters animated again. I like the new OP. Gonna miss the 'ah ah ah' though. More Akura-ou next episode! |

| I already expected that one character won't be included in this season. She's important, but the decision to cut her off from the start must be due to budget; her screen time might have been also taken to issue, and how far they want to adapt. They'll be paying more people with the later arcs. Sadly, this also means less animation quality for some episodes. The other arcs will require more details and budget for them. The ED is sadder than the one before. It will take some getting used to, but the sequence was really nice. I like how goofy the OP is on the other hand. Lol all those dancing. |

| So glad to see them again. Loved the op & the ed, Hanae <3 A lot of stuff happened during this episode, I'm not surprised manga readers found it rushed. I still enjoyed a lot, I even stopped studying when I saw it was out. |

| I'm happy they cut out the 'rival' and took this kinda faster pace with the Nanami needing to hatch/raise the Shikigami part of the plot... it actually didn't feel rushed in my opinion.. Ahh I'm gonna melt all over again with Tomoe and his "confused feelings" *wink*wink* |

| Right into season 2 and it's a very nice start. Nanami learned a new skill with her Shikigami and will probably even more useful now :D And the Nanami x Tomoe moments are still the best :) |

| I might be invalid but all I was thinking throughout this episode was "Too much Shoujo, not enough comedy". That said, I am a bit disappointed in this episode as I remember laughing my ass off every week in the first season. |

The slapstick is hit or miss for me with more hit(Mizuki gets me every time), but yeah some transitions felt pretty weird, something I certainly didn't see in the first season. Animation and character designs were a good bit cleaner though I think, Otohiko especially stood out more(and was presented better in general). |
