| I'm in school. I have the same problems with school as you, but I actually go to school all the time. I go pretty much everyday and don't cut. I feel that by not doing so it would cause me a larger amount of trouble than going. I do feel a ton of distress by going but I learned how to put up with it over the course of my life in school. |

I'm baffled by how a friend is going to make ~$9000 a month at Amazon, a scholarship and paid residence at Palo Alto, I'm pretty really jealous. Where's my paid residence at Ottawa? Those jobs aren't full of bliss though. Don't get me wrong, I liked working as a developer in an small company but larger higher paying companies can wreck havoc on you. I can't imagine how much the guy you mention works and how many CTO's he has rubbing down his neck. I read a blog online that some developers in Google work 12-13 hours per day because of the competitive environment (everyone works more than you) and the expectations on you are immense. There are smarter ways of making good money then being a hard working engineer. If you find me one tell me ;) |

| in hs i just went to school to take notes for tests/exams, go home watch anime and play video games... it was fun sometimes and boring sometimes... now im in university i still do those but less often |

| Yeah, 3rd year college :D Since I like the course I have chosen I don't often have those boring moments but I still experience them depending on the subject and professor :P Even if I feel lazy I still force my self to listen and if I really can't concentrate I just write everything and read it when I have time. |
