| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- HOLY SHIT, that was an awesome elbow in the face. Overall a good episode as I enjoyed the comedy of it. I like how the girls are hanging pictures and posters in Handa's home. His reactions were just priceless. Kyousuke is awesome though. I really like his chill personality. Naru was silly as usual :3 "SENSEIIIIIIIIIII" |

| They skipped the toad chapter..why? ;_; Way too fast paced for me, but I guess butchering of source material is a given for Kinema Citrus. Still enjoyable though. |

| Meh I shouldn't have read the chapters before watching this anime. I didn't like how they crammed so many chapters into one episode =/ The manga had at least a chapter to introduce each character so when they all visited the hospital to comfort sensei, it actually felt like the "heart beat" inspiration that Handa got had meaning. And since they were too busy cramming everything, the timings for jokes were off, the whole grandpa scene wasn't as touching, and the animation faltered a bit. I had hoped the series would ease in naturally without rushing and end the 1-cour in its own way. Oh well, can't judge from two episodes. Can't wait for the next! |

| So they skipped and crammed chapters? I'll probably go read the manga then once it's over :) Another fun yet inspirational episode. Naru is just too adorable and Handa is hilarious. Also, Uchiyama Kouki! Lol at the blood-soaked onions at the very end. I wish I had people to bring over food. I'm glad that Hiroshi caved in and said that they'll continue to bring over the food. But seriously, you just have to keep watching out for Handa otherwise he's in all kinds of trouble >< The IV scene was hilarious though, call the nurse! Nasu? Nasu? XD |

| Champon looks tasty! I had a lot of good laugh this episode again! And Naru makes their dialect soo cute! It's kind of sad they skipped some of the chapters. Like how Tama is a fujoshi (thus the jokes in this episode). |

| Another really sweet and fun ep :D Lol'd at that mom XD Making him dinner because she wants to feel needed XD Poor Handa with how he can never have a moment of peace XD First Naru then the middle school girls and then Hina XD Lol'd at the S&M XDXDXD Dat Slap Naru gave him because of the mosquito XD And being misunderstood as an S when he was tying Naru up XD Naru's gather ur energy with me was lololol XD Dat Genki Dama lol Poor Handa getting his head kicked while he was unconscious XD Lol'd at the empty IV part and Naru's Nasu search XD And the talk about Suppositories XD Seems the glasses girl is a fujoshi? XD Handa's reaction was lol...Humiliation-play XD And talking to a ghost at the end lol XD The Nurse owned him XD And how she was keeping her distance from him saying don't test my love for my husband XD Dem Bloody onions lololol XD And Obligatory Naru is Kawaiii <3 |

| Ah, this show's just simply great. There were a bunch of funny parts, especially the whole hospital segment (The IV scene had me laughing, and the whole ghost story thing made me laugh even louder) Hiroshi's bro of the season. The whole talent talk really did hit home so bonus points! |
Loving this anime. I laughed and showed sympathy for the newly introduced character. I'm also assuming that the middle schooler in glasses is into BL. The ending theme is amazing as ever. "She's annoying, in a moe kinda way" |

| To much screaming and fuss. Ghost ending was obvious. I prefered last one, more slice of life calm episode. And I don't think I like those new characters. |
| I thought it was kinda early for this part of the story, but it's been awhile since I read it. I can see how the characters might come across as annoying but it's part of the charm. 2 great episodes so far. |

| Woah that was fast, they crammed too many scenes from different manga chapters in one episode which make it feel a little unnatural at times unlike first episode. It still made me smile during some scenes, especially Hina's faces lmao Can't get enough of that ending, it's too good. |

| what's with chief's wive in the beginning of this episode? kind absurd but funny though.. woow, really a hard day, and the new girl just like naru but the older version o.0 naru is being awesome just like usual, and the nurse is.. hmm how to describe it, she do hate when handa didn't attracted by her but she also hate when handa is too close -_- i don't really understand her :s and about chief's son, why did he hate when his mom cooks for handa? illogical though ._. |

| I actually kind of enjoyed the fast pace of the scenes: it lends to the energy of the show. I haven't read the manga so I don't really know what kind of tone its pacing was used to achieve, but in the context of the anime, I think it works pretty well. I also really like its portrayal of the suffering artist and the nature of hard work and talent in regards to art. Speaking from experience as an artist, I know that talent can only get you so far, and that it's hard work (with healthy amounts of self loathing) that really make you grow as an artist. We'll see how far they explore these themes, but for now, they're pretty solid. And of course, the cast continues to be marvelous. Naru is on the fast track to becoming on of my favorite characters -- she exemplifies everything that's special about child characters. |

| Yet another genuinely good episode. Really is the highlight of this season for me thus far. It's no masterpiece, but it most certainly is heartwarming in a lot of ways. This episode wasn't quite as good as the first but Naru just really brings it all to life. The voice actor does a fantastic job as well capturing the nature of kids. Seeing Naru pushing on Handa's back, "Everyone give me your strength!" was just adorable. That face she made when he lifted her up and accused the girls of teaching her bad things, wow, I just nearly choked I was laughing so hard. Kind of wish they would keep it 100% real though instead of adding in the ghost and such. Nitpick though. |

| this is my favourite anime of this season. i can tell right now. i just love it so so much. I did not read the manga and i wont read it until the anime is finished because people who read it seem to not njoy it as much as i clearly am. |

| Another fun episode. Looks like Handa has been working too hard.. or he's been stressing out over all the new disturbances in his life XD The two school girls are hilarious. I love how they just walked into Handa's room like they owned it and started putting their stuff back. |
| All the people going to his house and hospital room. Tama and Miwa's base! Doing their own thing and Handa went ahead and invited them xD. Hiroshi getting inspired by Handa's hardwork. They sure were silly regarding the IV. So cute with Naru's panic. |

| I love this anime! It is so light- hearted and funn! Naru is the best character, she is cute, funny, and just so hyper. I like how Handa handles all the quirkiness that he is experiencing on this island. All the criticizing about the pace and how they left out parts is just crazy! Its the same as adapting a book to a movie, there is no way you can include every part of the manga into a season that is usually only 12 episodes. |
| So glad that I'm not a huge manga reader, because the manga readers WHINE WAY TOO MUCH and have to RUIN every adapted anime for the ANIME ONLY WATCHERS! |
