| Looks like I underestimated Griffith vs. the King's brother. Or really overestimated the brother. Of course, I had originally thought that he would go after the king rather than Griffith. Anyway, next we get to see if Guts has the ability to be an assassin =O |

| This was a good ep even if it didn't have much action. I wonder if the egg really did shield Griffith or if hes actually some sort of immortal, that might explain why he didn't wanna take his armor off in fear they would see he actually did get pierced by the bolt. Next ep Guts is off to assassinate the kings brother, cant see this ending well for him. |

| Griffith figured that out pretty quickly. The brother is a typical noble who thinks he's entitled to everything and a better class than everyone. Typical bad guy that I hate the most. Go get him Guts. |

| Other than the whiny princess, it was a pretty awesome episode. The way Griffith looked at the royal guy after he realized it was that guy who wanted to assassinate him... scary. Looks like poor fellow is gonna learn not to fuck with Griffith the hard way. |

Not to mention that he kind of blacked out for a few moments |
| Griffith's face when looking at that guy was so awesome. I like how they explained how Griffith found out who was attempting the assassination and not just "sensing" it like a lot of other shows would've done it. It's going to be cool seeing Guts destroy this guy. |

| It is becoming more interesting, we moved to something more engaging than "purposeless" battles. (aimless for the main characters and the audience, I know they have a reason in the larger world that we know almost nothing about) 4/5 |

| I don't think Princess Charlotte is annoying I think she is adorbs :3 Plus, she is a breath of fresh air from other stuck up princesses she apologized for what happened even though it wasn't her fault she felt personally responsible for what happened. Also, she has had a sheltered life thus far of course she would scream if a horse took off running all of a sudden it's a rather unnerving experience to say the least. At the same time I don't think at this point she can be considered a damsel in distress usually damsels are people you go to great lengths to save but aren't worth saying usually because of their bad personality. But, saving her in this minor incident wasn't a big strain of effort on Griffith's part and she seems like a nice person worth saving if in trouble and Griffith might have an effect on her to make her more determined in the future but that's only speculation I don't know what will happen maybe she will get worse. But, in my opinion right now she isn't bad or annoying ^-^ |

| Casca was happy for Griffith when he was with the Princess(exchanging mating calls), I assumed that Casca has romantic interests in him. Well, at least it lessens the complications... phew. Griffith's eyes MAN!!! Time to go, Julius my boy. |

| Good episode. Griffith gets saved by his egg and realizes Julius is behind it. Not very difficult to figure out, since he was basically shouting it throughout the whole castle afterwards. A counter-assassination is set-up. Next episode will be quite interesting (I hope). |

| I loved this. 5/5 I really liked the major focus on Griffith and hime sama and it was truly unlucky for the opposing side that they messed up like that. The egg is the only "plot armor" that is completely acceptable. |
