Seeing how poor Final Part 1 went for me, I didn't have high expectations this time around. Somehow this season felt very rushed, like they tried shoving too much material into too few episodes and at the end still failed, needing 2 more episodes to bring it to an end. It's like they weren't given enough airtime to "show" so they had to resort to "telling". A lot of jumping back and forth too. One thing I did like is how they brought back a lot of the focus to main characters from Season 3 and prior. It's nice to see how they're doing and how these new developments affect them. Not appreciative of what Eren been up to, I'd like if both Zeke and Eren would stop what they're doing. This season feels like a wet cloth, if that makes any sense. Anime link |
