However I was willing to watch Given because of the shounen ai tag, because it is based on a manga and because I've heard good things about it. It was great and I'm looking forward to the movie as I loved the supporting characters. I like that while it obviously had music and romance aspects in it, it never felt like there was a hyper-focus on anything. It was very balanced and I enjoyed seeing a bit of everything and finding out more about the characters. I'm stingy with my 10s but this is definitely a 9+. |
