| Adorable kids <3 So happy Hayato learned to love to swim. Kisumi knows Haru and others Sosuke and his shoulder. Which would explain why he didn't do his best during the competition. Makoto future is to teach kids to swim. <3333 |

| This didn't feel like filler to me, honestly there's not a whole lot of plot in this besides "a lot of guys swimming...for various reasons" and this was about makoto discovering he likes teaching others to swim, which is relevant to the whole "what to do after graduation" plot thingy..... |

| Wow, I was smiling ear to ear this episode. I got to see my two favorite characters of the season shine. Makoto is such a great guy, he has a big heart and would probably make an awesome teacher/swimming instructor (and father to boot!). Also seeing more of Sousuke is a bonus, looking out for Ai-chan and what not. I really hope that injury doesn't resurface on him in the regionals. |

| Why must after every time a characters speaks, utters one single fucking line, all the other characters respond by quietly repeating the name of the character who just spoke? They especially do it after every time Haru opens his mouth, as if they are surprised that he is capable of coherent thought and speech. "Haru-chan..." "Haruka-sempai..." "Makoto..." "Kisumi..." "Haru..." Is this just how Japanese people speak? It's infuriating. It always seems to be a thing in anime, but this show really kicks it up a notch. Holy shit. Other than that, this episode was really cute. That kid was adorable, and Makoto's such a sweetheart. |

| Dude, this old friend crap is getting on my nerves... We're on episode 8 and they still introducing new characters??? Geez. Still. It was a really adorable episode, even though the only important thing in it was the last minute. Haru-chan jealousy is really funny... He doesn't even know he's jealous. That Hayato kid is so cute. The scene when he stops fearing the water is really beautiful. And I didn't notice Makoto's siblings were twins til this episode lol |

Sousuke had a shoulder injury so was that what he was doing last episode? going to the hospital for a check up or something about it? Awww, Kisumi was so cute! I loved him! | Oh my... Hayato is so adorable! Makoto should be a coach. He's kind and patient, I think it suits him perfectly. So Sousuke has a shoulder injury? He shouldn't have kept that a secret. It will just make things worse. A filler episode, eh? While I think it's kind of a filler episode, it still had some important parts. Sousuke's shoulder injury, for example. I wish they shortened the other parts, though. |

| i still don't care much about makoto. he's too kind, too dependable, too perfect, makes him a bit boring. i'm not really a fan of the perfect boyfriend material type. maybe that's why i didn't enjoy this episode that much. but it was a nice one. it was cute to see him finding himself a little bit in teaching the kids. i think makoto has it a bit hard, loving to swim and wanting to swim forever with his friends but graduation is coming and he knows that he won't be able to do that forever. it makes one lost to love something and be good at it but not good enough to make a living out of it. idk, first time i kinda related to him. [and kisumi is hot. <3 but my heart is still nagisa's.] |

I wonder is Haru jealous over Makoto and his friend. It seemed like that guy tried to own Makoto when they were younger, and now Haru feels threatened. But that would be very stupid, since there's such a scenario between Rin and Haru too. I mean from the way Sousuke is looking at it. |

| Oh this was a sweet episode, I think Makoto would actually be a pretty good coach :) Maybe this has inspired him?! :O So the new guy's name is Kisumi, no wonder they were saying "Kiss me" in the preview lol XD It seems as though Haru doesn't like him much ... uh oh lol :P Hm, so is Sousuke hiding the fact that he hurt his shoulder?! That would explain why he "lost momentum" and isn't swimming in as many races. Looks like he confronts Haru next episode about why he swims too ... dun dun dun! I think things are starting to get serious :P |

| If only traumas were that easy to overcome... Nice episode overall. The revelation of Sousuke being injured seems interesting and Makoto + Kids is such an adorable combination, a perfect 10/10 combo. |
| Makoto really enjoyed being a swimming instructor. If he doesn't make it to the big time, who knows, maybe that's his future. Also, we just learned from Kisumi that Sousuke had a shoulder injury. Is it really fully healed? |
