| Auch,the talks -_-" I really hate the first 5minutes. It's really boring to me. Although, the rest 17minutes really rocks. That investigation is really epic. And that headshot~ I LOL'ed when Rikako's CC being measured. 472!! Oh , and I love the ED. Time for the main course~ I suspect Makishima will play with Akane first in order to play with Shinya. |

| Is it just me or is anyone else imagining the 1st encounter between Akane, Ko and Makishima like this: Akane: Kogami, what does the Dominator says about his Psycho-Pass? Kogami: It's over nine thousaaaaaaaaaaaand! Akane: What nine thousand? aafar2, thnx for the explanation abut the play. I got that he was quoting something, but I didn't really want to do the job you did. So, it seems Makishima isn't really a revolutionaire. Sure, he's against the system, but his goals seems to be sowing chaos, instead of trying to bring the system down. It's kinda sad really, because that way we won't have a real dilemma. Even if his arguments against the system are sound, coming from a guy like him they won't have the smallest effect. Let's hope we have proper revolutionaire in a second season, because we must have more. Also, with all the possible crazy people he could explore, he's going to target an Enforcer? Really? He might have the means but that's just too much. Also, still don't like how Ko is the awesome detective that has ALL the insights. The prison was interesting and the tattoo guy was very cool. Other than that, I liked the bit with Kunizuka and the girl. It's the 1st we see about her personality and there's a hint about why she's an enforcer now. So, I guess we know now what happened to the serial killer that killed Ko's friend. He was probably hunted too. |

| This episode is absolutely fantastic. It's just the beginning of Makishima's toying with Kougami. We'll see them meet just like in episode one sometime later. Execution is done excellently as well. Nothing but praise I guess. |

| My guess: Knowing Makishima is getting his hands on Kougami and from the op Akane is pointing her gun to Kougami, my guess is that Kougami goes rogue and kill Makishima. Eventually Akane will need to finish the job herself. |
| Pretty enjoyable episode. Good to see that Rikako's arc is over, four eps would be too long in my opinion. And I'd really like to see some crimes that are NOT connected to Makishima. He can't be everywhere... Are my eyes mistaken, or the visuals in EDs change every episode? |
| This is probably one of the best episode for psycho pass, not to mention making this series one of the better ones this season (or even for the year). The suspense of this episode which shows how art can conceal a hidden motive behind it and how Kogami juz epically solve the case like an art critic, the horror (as usual!) And what makes it the best; the anticipation and speed. However, there's just one major flaw i would say: not the settings, not the plot, but the pacing, i wuld say. |

| Ugh, pretentious quoting that I never understand. Makes me hate the guy even more! Those attack dogs though, man, I wouldn't mind having one... Plus that guy enjoying the thrill of the hunt makes me want to see more of him. Well, I guess that boarding school is gonna have to face a mean inspection from parents. | Woahh.....Great episode!!! Rikako was taken care of by her own sponsors. I couldn't help but feel sorry for her. Seriously, those guys keep backstabbing each other. "Your reap what you saw" , I guess that became quite obvious with Rikako. Without a doubt, Makishima will suffer the same fate. Probably a shameful death as well. He's playing with fire now - by messing with Komagi. I'm still hoping to see more of Akane. She's a dinamic character, so she will develop somehow. Will she become mentally unstable and break? I can't wait to see more development! |

Interestingly enough, he was jumping around the scenes a lot. Let's recap what he said. Spoilers about Titus Andronicus below. I put all the quotes in the spoiler to shorten the post length. Analysis time. First off, if we take the literal route, Rokako Oryo is playing the part of Titus' daughter Lavinia. Lavinia is raped by Chiron and Demetrius, who were persuaded to do so by Aaron (who I believe is played by Makishima). Her hands are cut off and her tongue is cut out so that she can not speak or write down the name of her offenders. The parallel here is obvious, Oryo's cell phone has no reception (her tongue being cut out) and her hand is cut by the robot dog. I suppose the weird hunter man could be Chron or Demetrius, but to be honest it probably doesn't matter. Other than that, it seems Makishima is just being choosy about the lines apart from context and applying them to Oryo. The second quote is about a hunt, and Oyro is hunted. The fourth quote implies that Makishima will not listen to any excuses about Oyro's failure. The fifth and sixth quotes are physically applied to Oryo. The final line is said about Tomora, not Lavinia, but Makishima is seemingly just applying it to Oryo directly. Makishima has clearly prepared these quotes, which means that he probably knew Oryo would fail him and that he would have her hunted and killed. It seems he was just rubbing some Titus quotes in her face since she's familiar with the play. This whole arc so far has had a ton of Shakespeare references. For example: the class recites from Twelth Night in episode 6. At the end of episode 6, Makishima was discussing the fate of Lavinia with Oryo. For those wondering, Lavinia was eventually killed by Titus in an honor killing because she was raped. Oryo quotes "Because the girl should not survive her shame, And by her presence still renew his sorrows", which was said by Saturninus to Titus regarding Lavinia in Act V, Scene 3. If Oyro is Lavinia, Makishima may also be Titus in a way, as he had her "honor killed" for not performing up to his standards. If I'm right in comparing Makishima to Aaron, it's interesting to note that Aaron's last words were that he wished he could only do more evil. Another interesting point is that Makishima is ALSO being unoriginal by turning Oryo's death into a Shakespeare farce of sorts. The guy may enjoy entertainment, but I do not think he is some artistic genius. Though, I don't think it was implied that he is. Rather, I think he wants to supply the artistic geniuses with the tools to get things done. In summary, Makishima is insane. For the future, since there are flags in at least two episode for Shakespeare now, be on the lookout for parallels. However, Shakespeare might have only been utilized for Oryo's arc. This was fun to write and research. Please, anyone feel free to disagree with me regarding my short analysis or anything regarding the play. I'm familiar with the play, and I also went back to confirm context... but that doesn't make me a scholar in it. thanks a lot for this. | Yeah, but she was a victim as well. A victim of the system. She lost her father and was trapped in that archaic school. She was insane and certainly didn't deserve to be free but she also didn't deserve to be hunted down like a dog, no one deserves that, not even the worst murderer. I actually feel sorry for all the girl's in that school they are over protected and being raised to not be able to handle any kind of stress. Her description of them as beautiful pieces of antique furniture is really telling. She couldn't see the same was true about herself. She was like a small child trying to continue her father's work without understanding it. She was twisted, sadistic and cruel but also a product of this fucked up system. She would have died no matter the circumstances because of the way this twisted society is setup. The society failed her, just as it failed so many of these criminals despite all the talk rehabilitation. Even the prison that Akane and Kougami visited is just letting the prisoners fall deeper into their delusions and perversions. The more I see of this society the more rotten it's core. And it's bred criminals that are more evil and fucked up than ever. |

| As we've all seen Kougami's the most intelligent agent we've seen so far in the series. When I saw that dude in confinement, the art on his skin reminded me of Hidan in his ritual mode. Rikako Ouryou on the other hand is not. She displays the corpse like the arts of her father and think that she wont get caught. Pretty dumb i'll say. Now she knows the pain and fear the other girls had to experience... well she felt it worse... she was still alive while being tortured; the other girls died from being poisoned, then iced and then disassembled. So Makishima's next target is Ko. This is going to be interesting. Sent with Mal Updater |
| How the hell did the school system fail to notice that Oryo's crime coefficient was over 400? Didn't they mention that the students had to undergo weekly or monthly scans, a few episodes back? I can only assume Makishima had something to do with that, protecting Oryo. |
| Now being this far into the anime, I can say I really hope it continues being this good. I love the style of pretty much everything. Akane's character design took a bit of getting used to, but everyone else in the force is really memorable. I can only hope it continues being at least this good. |

It's nice to see others opinion on knowledge and that school is not the only way to acquiring it - but rather personal interest, that's why some join schools of education when you're older i say, like me (You also got family pressure and so on, but that's irrelevant), and others pics up crafts, like drawing or something. |
