I remember it like it was yesterday. I was at a birthday party of one of my best friends. It was 2022 or 2023 in the winter. A couple of my friends had recommended that I watch an Anime. At the time, they were watching the new series Chainsaw man. ''sure'' i thought. i actually thought anime was childish and not my taste. until i started watching chainsaw man. the story structure was so good that i wanted to read the manga too. and that's how i got hooked on anime. i realized that anime is more that just an animation. i started watching all kinds of anime. Anime is one of the reasons I haven't thrown a yolo off a building yet. i am thankful for my friends who made me watch anime. in one of my middle years i was having such a hard time that i thought about ending it. Anime and my friends made sure I wanted to keep on living. even if I knew in the morning that school was going to be a shitty day, I knew I could watch Attack On Titan or Jujutsu Kaisen and more after school.
