| Things you love to see, Cloverworks still smashing it with the production value. So many details to look at and the bit surprised me was the quality of the school floor. Komichi making friends on the first day already, after Erika she managed to drag in 2 others by her energetic, yet quirky personality, but unlike Komichi, it will definitely take me 2 more episodes before I remembered their names. Komichi is definitly a bit gullible. Finally got to see Komichi's dad and he seems like a chill dude, he has one hectic work shedule though, the poor soul. Kao is once again one of the best little sister I've seen in recent times. |

Akebi also got charismatic characters and a nice looking production. I'm looking for differences to explain why Sono Bisque Doll got a much higher rating aside from the fact that Akebi is more of a cute girls show, which aren't that highly rated on average. Last week I had Akebi at a 6 and Sono at a 7, my ratings can always change. But what I personally value shouldn't matter. I didn't like the fanservice as much, while others were going crazy over Marin. Downvoting? Are you for real. You read my previous reply and know what observation I was referring to. AoT S4 jumped to the #20 only after one episode. Why do you thnk? Because, HYPE. Hype is a key factor. That's why I don't take MAL scores seriously, only at face value. Just because SOL or because of the popular stereotype that such titles are plotless? I often hear complaints that nothing happens on these shows because the normies are usually unaware of who is watching the shows and why (not in a bad sense of the word). I also have a "rule" not to rate some shows above a certain threshold, but this is mostly about chibi shows or shorts and only if I'm not entertained enough. |

Therefore, knowing the manga and seeing the result, I expected that it would be rated at least not lower than Super Cub. |

| Definitely loving this show, Akebi’s first day at school was a very flashy one lol, definitely made her first and last impression with that performance. I especially loved the scene where she was talking with the girls at her table during lunch, they all have nice designs and fun personalities, I can see myself really liking them over time. Also that lip scene was an interesting one for sure, she’s really good at that huh lol. And of course Cloverworks flexed in this episode when she was running through the cherry blossoms, looked very very good. And the Dad seems wholesome, I like that. The OP was really good too, great song and visuals. Definitely looking forward to next week. |

| Without seeing her panties like the rest of the class... the ghost thing was pretty funny haha. And then her reaction when Kizaki told her about her panties, poor Akebi xD. Man, the lip balm scene was... wow, absolutely stunning. I feel like Akebi is on her way to making her classmates gay if they aren't already lol. Yuri vibes rising. Probably the biggest surprise of the season for me, I'm loving it. Akebi is so much fun. |

| This show is absolutely so goddamn beautiful. Akebi-chan, My Dress Up Darling and Slow Loop just be blessing our lives with wholesomeness this season. This was only the first day of school right, and Akebi has already collected three girls into her harem, based. They're doing such a fantastic job with the atmosphere and the aesthetics, they had no reason to make it this Godly good, but they did, I only hope the quality stays consistent throughout the season. Really looking forward to the next episode. |

| This was a nice, chill episode. Just how I like them. Komichi is such a sweet girl, so it is nice to see that she is getting along great with her classmates and made some friends already. Even with that….odd….introduction. Not too much fanservice this episode. Hope it stays that way! I think this anime is really beautiful and does not need fanservice to make it work. The character dynamics seem like they could be fun to watch, and all the girls are cute, so that is enough to carry the show for me. I am excited for episode 3! I hope Komichi invites Erika over so she can meet Kao! |

| This episode was so good man. Serotonin levels restored I started smiling right after the episode began. This anime is the literal embodiment of a cute, wholesome and happy life. I love how they portrayed the school's atmosphere so nicely, everyone was nice, Akebi already made a pretty reliable friend who looks out for Akebi. The animation is truly magnficent, you can get tons of wallpapers from every single episode, I got like 15 from last episode and around 10 from this. The BD version of this is going to be of next level, can't wait to re-watch this when the BD releases. Also Akebi chan is the most wholesome and kawai girl ever. Must protecc. And Kao is too damn precious too, I love how they portray their relatiionship, its like the ideal sibling relationship, I love watching them interact. Some people may not like that they are showing us the scenes of them bathing together but its not because they want to show some "fan-service" they are doing it to show us just how close the sisters are and its doing a good job in showing us. The episode was so enjoyable, couldn't stop smiling for the whole episode. Also the ED is so damn good, just can't get enough of it. We got to see more of smol Akebi too, she's so precious and kawai, all cheerful and happy :D It's nice to see Akebi put so much effort to remember her classmates' names, she's looks so happy after having an amazing day ᵔ ᴥ ᵔ The dad part was done really nicely too, parents can get nervous too afterall. I liked the understanding between them. Akebi chan is runner up for best girl of this season.The competition for best girls this season is tough, let's see who comes out on top. Looking forward to next episode. |

| "Mata ashita (See you tomorrow)." It's a very common greeting for the commons. As it seems the school is for the upper classes, I expected the famous greeting I've never used: "Gokigenyou". After a while, I realized that the same Kanji characters are applied for 'ashita' and 'Akebi'. It would be the reason that "Mata ashita" phrase was chosen, I assume. |

| I think I'm already getting used to the faces. This show feels genuine and wholesome. Though I'm still confused about what this show is about? Just random stuff? MC wanting to become an idol? Synopsis says she wants 100 friends, but there's like 10-14 people in every class so it's already impossible. Girls doing cute stuff, I guess? |
| Goddamn it, this show is just so fucking beautiful. Some people might fuck it, because if you just want to have a feel good time watching anime, the show has it and more. Although I find it super fucking cringey when she was introducing herself to the class, it doesn't matter because Akebi is a lovely beast. And of course the highlight of the episode, her scene with her lips, that one was a killer!!! The wallpapers and smiles are rolling with this show, make it more stronger! |

| First day of class and an amazing starting moment! Akebi-chan cute and also being most unique student to wear sailor uniform will surely makes SoL anime more livelier than ever. Ah yeah, not to menion. I found it shocking Akebi-chan unconsiously want to take off her uniform while everyone is still there. Hahahaha, imagine if that happens, but still there's no way they're going to do that to a family-friendly anime. Not saying the first episode was bad but I definitely liked this one way more. | Touko reminds me of Ritsu so that is a plus from the anime. Relaxing episode, I like how they used the lonely childhood from Akebi to contrast with the others, and the scene with the father was charming. I could do it with less bathing scenes honestly, it is not like they couldnt do that sort of conversations in like any other part of the house lmao, and the lip scene was pure cringe |
