After that it became repetitive. So since this anime is only 12 episodes, I think it will not be a problem. |
| I knew that the late night food torture was going to be ramen lol. I liked this first episode but I hope they mix it up a bit and it looks like they will based on them bringing in new torturers (but why mess with what's been working?). By the way, I wonder how the princess was captured considering how easily she knocked out that demon cyclops guy. |

| You can't find takoyaki shops everywhere, if you don't live in Osaka. It's not genuine, but you can buy takoyaki as frozen food these days. It takes only 5 minutes to make it hot using microwave. You may be able to find it on net shops. "princess, don't search it on your terminal." |
| It was funny and cute. The start was strong, but half way through I got a little bored. I wonder how they are going to do 12 episodes of this. I may come back next week but doesn’t really seem like my cup of tea |

This was a great adaptation of the manga!

I read the manga, the jokes and food torture is enjoyable atleast in the first 50 to 80 chapters. After that it became repetitive.
So since this anime is only 12 episodes, I think it will not be a problem.

| I liked the animated expressions and body movements. Kind of reminded me of KonaSuba. Made the scenes more enjoyable despite not really feeling the comedy. They were amusing but never got a laugh out of it. If every attempt at comedy is like this, it'll definitely get repetitive. |
| Could be fun show if not the budget. Like. They've done that level of animation for simple gag? 3 times? I do not say quality should be bad. But it should not overshadow the story that much. All I see is efforts. |
| This is literally the "cake is for talkers meme" and I love it. The animation and voice actors definitely helps with an otherwise formulaic show. The comedy is also pretty strong gives me a Konosuba vibe with how the princess reacts to situations. If all the episodes are going to be as fun and laid back as this, its certainly going to be a must watch. |

| I'm not too sure how to feel about this one. The amount of frames drawn in just 20+ mins is quite outstanding. Last time I watched an anime with this much animation on the most mundane interactions with cute girls was probably since Slow Start. On the other hand, I get it that it's mostly supposed to be comedy, but I didn't laugh in any of the jokes that ended in the same manner with a huge overreaction on behalf of both the sword and the princess. Not saying this is bad, because at the very least I didn't feel bored, but it could certainly help to switch up the jokes structure. I'm kinda hoping that it's not the same joke over and over on the next episodes and at least there's some variety on behalf of the characters and setting, just like Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle did. |
| I honestly had no idea what to expect with this anime as the synopsis gave us barely anything and neither did the teaser, and this definitely wasn't what i was expecting lmao . i'm not complaining though as just like mr villain's day off it seems like a nice anime i can just turn my brain off and watch, my only worry is that if it's this same stuff every week i'll get bored of it but i have enjoyed this first episode |

| @Kimurah if you are expecting some fight scene to happen just like in the first minute of the anime, you will be dissapointed. Its Food torture and some other kind of wholesome torture all the way. Just dont expect Grand Blue level of comedy and instead watch it as a whole some show and your good to go. |

| This show's insanity is when you combine Winter 2018's Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san a.k.a Ms. Koizumi Loves Ramen Noodles, and Fall 2020's Maoujou de Oyasumi a.k.a Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle, plus with the tinge of last season's "Naughty" show, you'll get Robinson Haruhara's manga. Shallm's OP is good and Leevelles's ED is decent. Once the Commander of the Imperial 3rd Legion Army, the Princess stands tall against the Hellhorde, but with her sentient sword Excalibur, they were both captured, imprisoned, and subjected to torture by the Grand Inquistior Torture Tortura...through food? The first torture docket is toast, and if that's not enough, rinsing it in leftover beef stew is enough to break her into conceding information to help their army win over against the humans, into a toast party. Another torture, and this time, it's takoyaki, and once again, she gives into the temptation. But this is not enough for the Hellhorde demon lord, so Tortura comes with a ramen temptation at midnight...even then, it's not enough to convince him. So then, the task is handed to other torturers, but can they get better intel? The comedy hits with both Princess and Ex's characters (played by the VAs who were both front MC runners of Golden Kamuy: Asirpa and Sugimoto), which amps the comedy even further. The character tendencies will bring this show far, but for now, it's a surprise watch. |

| The episode didn't really have a problem in it's script based on what the premise was, but it's basically the same thing repeated over 4 times. Going to be very surprised if it can stay fresh by the end. Pine Jam so we might see Imaoka/Okita POG |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| Woahhh hold on a minute, look at those Sakuga!! I didn't know PINE JAM can do that. This is way better than i expected. Himesama and the Ex Sword are voice by Asirpa and Sugimoto VA from Golden Kamuy? No wonder their chemistry is amazing. I think it's not just the himesama but all of us the viewers got torture as well. But I'm glad i was having lunch while watching this episode. I need to remind myself to not watch every episodes of this Anime without food. |

| Seems fine I guess? For a seasonal anime it will probably work, but if I get behind with some episodes idk if I'll be able to binge. One thing that I really liked is Tortura. Her design is so good. And scenes with no makeup really make a difference too. |
| I really love the character designs, but that isn't enough to entice me to watch a show about a princess drooling over delicious food. Can't see how they can make what is basically the same running joke (which isn't even funny to me anyway) feel fresh across 12 episodes. Regretfully, I will most likely be dropping this one. |
