| Lots. Kaminomi and Twin Spica for starters. Kaminomi was such a well made anime. AAA quality. You know it's good when I actually read the manga. Twin Spica is the best goddamn drama anime I've ever seen. At least up until the last few episodes when it becomes clear there's not enough episodes to finish the story. I still need to read the manga for this one. I hate reading manga. |

| That depends if they can make a good season: GuP definitely highest on the list. Bofuri second Overlord third Watamote fourth Hitori Bocchi Marumaru no Seikatsu is fifth UFO Robo Grendizer sixth Gochiusa's seconds season got off, but may be they can get back to the roots in the 3rd. It should not be that hard. Black Lagoon getting as good as two original seasons is harder to imagine. Elfen Lied. I am not sure if they can manage it, good but it would definitely be very desirable. Though it is easy to ruin with just cheap shock value. I am far not confident that they can capture the same feel, make Lucy and other diclonii as pitiful as they managed in the original. They ruined Madoka Magica with Revbellion movie and further sequels just made the whole thing worse. Strike Witches got so many problematic spinoffs like Brave Wtiches, Road to Berlin also was not good. I am not sure if franchise can recover now. Same with Jigoku Shoujou 3rd season on. On the other hand stuff like Code Geass, Utena, SEL, Mugen no Ryvius, Umineko are all one off narrative stories that conclude their message by the end of the story, leaving nothing more to add. |
