Most of the scenes were predictable. For example, not killing the bad guy, at the dangerous moment the old man comes and saves the day. The last scene was interesting, but when I saw the title of the new episode, I was like "wth is going on".

Gasp, Kurokawa was the bad mushroom keeper all along. He also spread lies about the mushroom keepers spreading rust, and called them bad names; double gasp. Seriously with all the creativity in this show, couldn't you have worked on the main villain more. Also I'm repeating what others said, but the three of them really should have killed Kurokawa while he was down.

Idk about this episode lol, all protags are become so stupid. Paw got caught and tortured, Milo and Bisco whose did trash talking so they get shot, Jabi that managed to set free but again, got caught lol.

And how the governor managed to survive after got slashed two times, get shot through his head, and got crashed against the attic with mushroom arrow. If only the governor isn't a human, it would be acceptable.

Why would Bisco asked how's Milo going, like he got shot with arrows, why would he even asked thatit felt so cringe for me. Will be disappointed if Milo still managed to survive. Felt this anime will went downhill after this.

For know I dropped the rating from 8>6

💀that was kinda. Eh. episode couldve been cut to 5 mins if milo just brought bisco from the beginning, or if milo went straight for kurokawa's head instead of just slicing him several times, etc but yk what that scene where bisco took the arrow and returned it to kurokawa, breaking his glasses and piercing through his eyes was pretty damn cool so ill take it

Milo is a doctor, doctors have the obligation to care for wounded people and Bisco was heavily wounded, not because he's mega strong he can deal with the bunch of wounds he had, Milo stated it in the previous episode, he even has the rust damaging his internal organs so obviously Milo wasn't going to take him, specially because the one being held hostage and tortured was his sister. He also wanted to do something himself instead of just relying of Bisco ( who is also heavily wounded ) to save his sister.

cool episode, im just a bit disappointed tho...
the last episode made a pretty awesome build up for the conflict with the tsuda kenjiro guy, (hes having so much fun voicing this character lmao im loving it) i really felt milo's tension and despair there... so for it to get solved in such an underwhelming way... yeah maybe i held my expectations too high.

just wanna say that i can clearly tell this series was adapted from a light novel and not a manga, especially during the fight scene in this ep, idk why but im certain a manga series would have tried to make it more interesting visually (maybe its because in written form its harder to convey this stuff? im not a LN reader so im just speculating here). it all felt so so sooo static and boring composition wise- im confused because in previous fight scenes the animation was much more dynamic and interesting... maybe its just easier having more compelling fight scenes when the environment is more open since you can work around with space mh.
also i just couldnt be shocked/surprised when bisco showed up, i was so expecting it... im sure there was a better way to do this "twist"

hoping for next weeks ep to be better than this one! im still very much enjoying the anime, but itd still be disappointing if it flops :P

Wait so no way Milo is dead right? Like no way they killed off my boy like this??? TTGL type beat? Dude come the fuck on please be alive

Also why the fuck wouldn’t they kill kurokawa after he lost his eye and was knocked out?? That’s some wild plot armour

I don't think the main character would die that soon, so I think you can rest easy about that.

Bisco's fine tho. it's milo who might be dying

Wanted to see Pawoo stomping on kurokawa's face with her heeled boots.. how dare he hurt my Pawoo. he can hurt panda doctor i don't care. Deserves it for his stupid plan. Also responsible for Bisco getting hurt by leaving him out of his plan and then getting saved by him. How lame...Javi is the coolest Jiji.

I loved what they did with Kurokawa's character this episode, I felt like he wasn't a very good villain in the past but now I like him. His voice acting really helped to bring his character to life as well.

This episode was intense.

Milo acted all on his own and even had a solid plan to attempt to save Pawoo and Jabi-san without putting Bisco at risk and yet, the governor managed to thwart all that and turn him into a literal puppet. He better not actually have died after all that rust and arrows in him, I don't want another death note like situation in any anime.

Why is Kurokawa still alive? He must have had a chunk of his brain removed! lol

I hope Milo's not dead. It's not because I like him (which I do), but because it would be very dissatisfying if he died like that! His arc doesn't really seem complete yet. But, the next episode is titled "Kimi wo Aishitiru" (I love you), and I have noticed that anime tends to use the word "ai" for love when someone dies.

Why is Pawoo suddenly hardcore team-Bisco? She hated him just some days ago. It's hard to change that easily.

Jabi was awesome. I wonder if Pawoo will save him now.

Terrible episodes. The fact they never killed Kurokawa when they got a chance to do is probably the most dumbass thing made in this anime. He wants all of you dead and now he knows the secret, why is he still alive?

Kurokawa as biggest evil trash villain, I didn't expect him to be that mean.
The anime overdid it with the nearly deadly arrows this time.

Kurokawa seems to be obsessed with shooting rusty stuff at Bisco.

he used to be a mushroom keeper. no wonder he knew about the rust eater last episode

that kid needs to die. he's critically wounded. and he's the only doctor. he can't heal himself in that state. out in the snow. makes no sense that he could survive that

but also, all 4 of the good guys are now infected with rust. "you don't have much longer" only works for so long until it becomes a meaningless rust threat

Really love it when TsudaKen voices a character like this. That type of villain is the most enjoyable villain.

Milo was actually really cool than what I expected him to be. I thought he would just be saved again by Bisco. He protected Bisco with all his life but I just hope he's alive, that was some cliffhanger but the next episode title makes it seem like something happened to Milo.

Most of the characters didn't disappoint at all against the governor, that guy is really awful on every points but Milo fought well despite being controlled, I expected Bisco to show up to help him of course, but Jabi did great to escape and also save Pawoo at the same time... though that end, it is really the end for Milo? :o

Apparently, in the light novel, Kurokawa's minions immediately stormed the room so they couldn't finish him off. Also, while probably not realistic, he didn't die because it only damaged his eye and didn't go through his brain

One of the worst episodes I have ever seen. Dropped the show after half the episode.
Nothing here made sense. What about healing and then go safe the people at full strength instead of running in one by one? What about killing the guy the moment you have a chance, instead of getting into a talking match and getting fucked over and over? They guy freaking tortured your loved ones! Nothing here made any sense, it is as if the writers knew it would end too fast, so they had to write the characters like they suddenly lost every braincell... sad.

Everything so far felt pretty unique but this episode was a bit plot convenient with some dumb decisions (like them not finishing off Kurosawa). Got to say Jabi is the goat for turning from captor to being the rescuer himself.

To really enjoy this slow paced series, I had to double the playback speed. It was awesome!

I'm glad Pawoo was saved and it didn't end into a tragedy but the old man got caught...
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

I really enjoyed the first three episodes but this series fell apart. Everything that happened in this episode was painfully uninteresting. The old man saving them was the worst moment for me. It took away all of tension and killed all of interest in the show. Nothing the characters do matters and things just happen to move the plot along. Each plot point feels cliche and there is always a deus ex machina around the corner to save everybody. There is not much show left but I cannot fathom the ending being any good and I will not waste my time finding out if I am right.

Milo and Bisco's silent understanding followed by Bisco catching the arrow with his mouth and throwing it back at Kurokawa was an awesome sequence. But seeing Kurokawa immediately go down (even if he was still alive) kinda killed the hype of the moment. Only got worse once Jabi just shows up and tells them he saved Pawoo already.

Though honestly I'm kind of surprised they've fought Kurokawa at all. Eight episodes in seems a bit early, but I know nothing about the light novel so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
