| Nah, I prefer high school settings. Coming of age stories about young people experiencing things for the first time is one of the hallmarks of anime and high school works best for that. Why fix what ain't broken? |

| Shows like Uzaki-chan, Tonikawa, Mother of the Goddess' Dormitory, Higehiro would be great, basically more adult settings of work and college/Uni. That said Don't Tease Me Miss Nagatoro, Horimiya and Non Non Biyori Nonstop all contained school settings and i enjoyed them all. |

| People wanting more college settings seem to assume that it would lead to more mature writing, and my main concern is to begin a trend of finding cringey and over-the-top teen drama where it doesn't belong. College settings are fine, but they need writing that fits the setting first and firemost. High school anime can get away with more immaturity because it fits the characters and their context. |

| I feel like the whole high school setting has been milked to death already. I would really enjoy more anime that took place in college. Two of my favorite slice of life anime (honey and clover, nodame cantabile) have characters that are in college. Heck, even more anime that have characters in the workplace would be nice. Sadly, I just can't relate anymore to high school anime anymore. |

| I would LOVE to see more shows with adult characters! Even if the setting isn't in a high school, I feel that a large majority of shows revolve around teenagers and middle schoolers. This is fine and dandy, but gets repetitive. I want to see adults that have outgrown that silly awkward phase, adults with social skills, adults that don't second guess everything, adults with adult relationships. |

| I doubt we'd ever get college setting in anime because the reality is, pretty sure most mangaka/author never got to College. Grand Blue is of an exception, because the setting is set to College, it was never really the focus. |
| Honestly may as well go with college settings to change it up. As it is, anime tries hard a lot of the time to make the characters independent anyway. You know like, oh their parents who are on a year long business trip pay for them to stay in an apartment by themselves! It's almost already there. Of course plenty of students stay home while in college anyway, but just a thought. I enjoy college settings even if it's not the focus, too. It was extremely minimal, but one thing I liked about tokyo ghoul was knowing the main characters in the beginning were in college. Just was a nice change to see. |
