| You might hate but it's impossible to deny that the chimera ant arc was impressive (to say the least). In manga my favorite arc is the war for paradis arc from SnK. And I've just started the one piece manga so I think I might encounter some new nice arcs. |

| Can't really choose one so I'll divide them by anime: HxH - Chimera Ant arc Gintama - Either Farewell Shinsengumi or Silver Soul arc Shokugeki no Souma - Régiment de Cuisine arc Soul Eater - Dark side of the Moon arc (Manga only) Naruto - Sasuke Retrieval arc Naruto: Shippuden - Pain arc, but I also loved many parts of the 4th Shinobi World War. My favorites are Chimera Ant and Pain arc but I can't decide which one I prefer tbh |

| Marley (Attack on Titan) is #1 for me. Marineford (One Piece), Invasion of Pain (Naruto Shippuden), L arc (Death Note) would be close runner ups. Also if we combine the Android + Cell arc from DBZ, that would definitely be up there too. Even without nostalgia, those arcs are fantastic and imo that is the peak of the DB franchise. |
| So my top ones would have to be: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure - Battle In Egypt: So many amazing fights in this arc including D'arby vs Jotaro and Jotaro vs DIO. We get to see some of the best of Stands and have really great character moments with Polnareff and Jotaro. Death Note - First Arc: Idk if I'd call it a shounen but it's classed as one so I'll mention it. I think everyone that has seen it knows why it's so amazing Naruto - Pain Arc: Deffinatly the climax of Naruto, with an amazing fight and Pain had a great backstory. Also the stuff with Jiriah and Naruto was really great. |
