Apologies for the late reply! School can be a bitch sometimes.

It's hard for me to pick which decade was better, between the '80s or '90s. Those were probably the decades which innovated the most in positive ways, and so much stuff still holds up today. '98 would probably be my pick for second best year in the history of anime. Even discounting all the obvious stuff, there are so many incredible shows that not as many people talk about, like Neo Ranga and Orphen. And really, that's one of my favorite things about watching old anime. It's about finding those gems that time forgot. Makes the viewing experience feel more personal and intimate, if you ask me.

Do you enjoy finding good obscure anime, too? If so, what are some of your favorites?

Edit: Could you PM me your Twitter? We can follow each other on there

Oh, I'm all about that, too. My favorite are old video game ads from the '80s and '90s. The Sega ones from the '90s are practically part of my DNA.

The '00s is probably my favorite decade for anime overall. That early digital look makes tons of otherwise forgettable series that more sentimental to me. You also had so much incredible anime coming out - 2002 being my favorite year for anime of all time. It's got pretty much everything I could ever ask for. What would your favorite decade and year be?
