| Personality wise, they are probably cringe. Appearance wise, probably either average-looking or meh. Meh, because sitting in front of your computer and watching anime all the time impacts your life-style, and perhaps also diet. I feel like otakus, especially, have a shitty diet (noodles, fast food, energy drinks, candy), and a life-style like that definitely takes a toll on your appearance. Unless you're genetically blessed and barely gain any weight or get bad skin from shitty foods. And with a very low, but still existing, percentage of genetically-blessed people who look stunning. Myself included :^) |

| I don't think much about what someone looks like in real life. Although, their online persona can speak more than looks can. Based on their attributes in conversation or overall personality, it can be easy to label someone as "optimistic" or "short tempered," etc. But, it is not a good idea to take someone's online personality to face value! If someone is being ingenuine about their personality on the internet - do not fret. They eventually show their true colors. There is no telling who you're talking to on the other side of the monitor. |

OMG Actually awhile back I was in an online relationship with a guy I've never seen a picture of (met him in an anime group on facebook) and the whole time he had a Punpun profile pic - so I was just in a relationship with a doodle of a bird. I met him irl later and we were in a relationship irl for a while. But yeah, for about 5 months I didn't even know what the dude looked like, and honestly I didn't care - shitty bird doodle was good enough. |
