If you are OK to miss out on these factors, and you prefer the amount of shows you watch to the amount of content you take out of it, then fine. Personally the only thing I watched in 1.5x or even 2x is recordings of a lecturer in university (he spoke waaaay too slowly and the preparation time for the exam was a bit short) |

| I did in fact watch some episodes in SAO at 2x or 3x speed (I don't really remember how fast exactly) because I just couldn't take those final 6 or something episodes. But other than that I never watch anime at higher speed. |

| If I start watching faster than 1x it means that anime is boring or too slow and the art is bland so I'm not sorry to skip it, and it is actually a sign that this anime is not good enough for me. If I totally enjoy something I would never speed that up. But it's useful when I don't feel like dropping and just want to see what happens in the end. |
