| Well, my name is relatively rare, but I've met a few people who have the same name in my lifetime. So meeting such a name in anime will not affect me much, but I will probably be happy. Search function says there are 2 people with my given name, and 2 people with a patronymic derived from my name. And I have only seen one of them before, without knowing that patronymic. My country is sometimes represented in anime. |

| I just found 25 characters with the same name as I have [I have a way too popular and super mainstream name], usually they're all side characters and most often European/American. it's just a name and I usually don't realize I do have the same name as those characters, but I think it still might give me a somewhat happy feeling when I do realize a character wears the same name as I wear. |
