I got a lot of messages and well-wishes, as well as response from my agency.
Thank you so much!
The truth is, a birthday even was planned and prepared for this year, too.
To everyone who looked forward to it in support, I'm sorry.
Please wait for the day when we can all enjoy one together!
My 38th birthday was a day I'll never forget.
My main physician told me repeatedly that it was impossible and thought of all sorts of ways to make it happen, since there were lots of restrictions on location, time, number of attendees, and etc. I got a special permission for the go-ahead!
Here's my 38th birthday party!!
A couple of my friends became the organizers and met the restriction requirements and got together the birthday party somewhere in the city.
There was a lot of decorations at the place!!
And a lot of friends!!
I was in the dark about what was going to happen until the day of.
First, I received presents from everyone.
A patch with a Maisen logo to show that I'm 38.
Why Maisen? It's for the snack that I eat the most: Maisen's hirekatsu sandwiches.
We had time for a rep speech from my friends and chatting, and then, I couldn't believe it--
...I got to cut into the cake all by myself.
There was a wedding welcome board on the table and it totally felt like a wedding ceremony.
What a wonderful solo wedding.
When I get better, I'll work hard toward getting married...!
Then I got a lot of message albums and other gifts, and the party came to its climax.
I never noticed that they'd put up a screen and they played a video as a birthday gift from everyone.
It was from people here at the party, people who weren't, other voice actors, staff members, and personal friends.
A lot wore golden kimonos and wigs and sang a parody of "Matsuken Sanba" on stage.
They sang "Matsuki wa Sanba (38)"
and broke into dance.
It was...was...was an amazing video...!!!
E-E-Even the vocals was a full recording...!!!!
There were a lot of scenes of various people eating Maisen's hirekatsu sandwiches during it, and of a lot of voice actors, staff members, my family, and even Ponta and Chii who can't eat hirekatsu sandwiches!!!
I laughed so hard and bawled my eyes out. My mind went completely blank.
Oh, oh my god, oh my god, I'm really, really...
I wouldn't have worked so hard if I didn't have everyone here.
Because they've been supporting me all this time, I was able to get to where I am today.
I'm filled with nothing but hope now.
I'll be fine because everyone's with me!
And thank you so much, as always, to my many friends and staff member who couldn't come today.
Thank you so, so much to everyone who has always waited for me and supported me.
Even in this condition now, I can say this with confidence this year.
I'm glad I was born as who I am.
Thanks a million.
The video was amazing, I can say it was almost like a PV for Maisen's hirekatsu sandwiches!

i know her radio program Cherry Bell. it has several large stage events too. she was a funny girl, often being teased. i will miss her... rest in peace, Matsuki Miyu... ;_;
I don't know many Japanese Voice actors, but she was one of the ones I did enjoy.
rest in peace, and may whatever lies in the afterlife cherish you and treat you well.
I can't believe it! D: Her voice as Chimo Yakusa and as the Magical Sapphire are pretty good. Haven't watched much anime with her voicing the characters yet, but her voice acting is pretty good. Gonna miss her voice, especially as Chimo :'( R.I.P. ;_;

R.I.P :(, very sad notice to start the day, so young and already died. Why? ;_;
I love her roles as Fujiyoshi, Hisui and Magical Sapphire ;_;
I hope that she is well in the afterlife. Condolences to her family and friends.

Like I care at all
But it was so loud
And you sure could yell
You took a stand on every little thing
