It doesn't matter at all to me. I watch anime as long as the synopsis sounds interesting to me.

Like it fucking matters. I've no problem watching shows/reading manga from both demographics.

Absolutely not. Shounen's awesome. I'm open to all genres, except for a few.....

I'd usually watch a Shoujo if it turns out to be a Romance/Comedy, and yeah I watch Shounen.

So, both? :)

You can watch Hataraku Maou-Sama!
It's about the devil Satan, who is a part timer in Mcdonald...

It does not really matter.
Shoujo's not really my type of anime, but there are still few shoujo anime I enjoyed watching, like Ore Monogatari, Akagami Shirayuki, Maid-Sama and such.
I'm more to Shounen though, never gets old.

While I do agree with that statement overall, name one recent good shoujo besides Monogatari and Yona that is actually good. Ao Haru Ride? Ookami Shoujo ? Soredemo ? Like c'mon...

Not only I don't avoid shoujo as a male, but on top of this some of my favorite manga are shoujo. So I don't see why I should avoid it. There are extremely good manga in the shoujo side and in the shounen side, so avoiding one for gender reason would be stupid.

Nozaki-kun is a parody of Shoujo manga, but it's published in a Shonen magazine. Although the show is more popular among girls than it is among boys.

They're not all like that.

Why don't you try some "Magical Girl" Anime, like "Futari wa Precure?"

Chihayafuru is a josei series (not that it actually matters since its from 2011)

Kaichou wa maid-sama is pure toxicity and blandness all wrapped in one big pile of turd.

It doesn't really matter. If the anime is good, I will watch it.

Why would any girl try to avoid shonen? Most of the girls I know prefer shonen anime over shojo anime because shojo can be so lame, sappy, and slow sometimes.

nozaki-kun is shounen, it's serialized by gangan online. they have more wide story tell, from very boyish (DKNN, fujimura-kun matsu) until very girlish (akuyome). but they are generaly shounen.
