| When I was watching this anime at episode 40 or something when Lucy was fighting Virgo etc. i was so stoned i actually got put off from watching it further. I'm still not happy about the way a lot of animation is done in this series (when you get stoned and your concentration levels are up, trust me, things become very obvious) but after taking it up again a month ago, this new arc really got me in. Maybe I just have to be sober to watch this anime. |

| Have mixed feelings on seeing the hot spring being missed. Kinda liked the moment where Gray and Natsu mentioned how they have seen Lucy's body a million times to the point they have lost interest in it. Natsu beating Erza made me puke, scenes like these make me hate him. He deserved the whatever-it-is aftermath. |

| Pretty good arc story wise and in term of relevancy. What I disliked was the involvement of Flare, Minerva and the whatever guild she is in, and the mention of a new 'species', devil slayer. The whatever slayer thing is kind of getting gimmicky here, even God slayer was funny though. Flare's involvement was sort of abrupt I feel, the change in her personality is also kinda cringey, and her personality during certain scenes remind me of somebody else in Fairy Tail to be called a character of her own. Hopefully we'll never get to see her again, if all Mashima wants is an addition of another 'cute' girls. Minerva on the other hand, stayed the same, but she is funny in every bad way, like the one person who has a superiority complex, but is inferior to somebody else. Erza's preaching couldn't be more annoying. If she was a great person who turned evil, okay whatever, but she is pure evil, the hell Erza was preaching for? I hope she doesn't think that she can be Jesus Naruto or something.. Even if Mashima doesn't think so, every little bits like this contribute to her overall characterization, and make her more the less relateable/understandable. Onto the much praised Tartaros arc! Hopefully it delivers. (action wise I can already see it's gonna disappoint, but it may pleasantly surprise me c:) |

| Seeing all this talk about the "censored" bath scene made me look it up... great shit, glad I did. First Erza boner in a while. Anyway, this was a very, uh, "moving" episode. Looks like we're on the cusp of something major, indeed. Hopefully it lives up to what it promises to be. Broccoli guy is cool and funny. |
