| This is probably the best AOT has ever been. This was incredible. Mugiwara_Luffyy said: Your eyes and ears must be broken. The animation was the best it's ever been post Wit. | that was great. eren's monologue and finally seeing things more from his pov hurts. that first few minutes of the rumbling happening was absolutely terrifying, it wasnt even 10 minutes but felt like hours. hange died but she had a pretty cool one, o7. |
| Eren monologue in the beginning was so beautiful and sad. The Peak is back, and omg the Rumbling scene are so brutal i love it. Looks like there is no Talk no Jutsu with Eren. The Animation sequences are so good, of course the Music was Amazing as well. now i understand why they took a long time to released this and needed to split this into two part. Thank You MAPPA! 9/10 |

| I've just rewatched the episode. It was equally great, if not even better than during the first watching, haha. Such kino. |
| Detaching this from the last season was a bad decision. The tension built there affects how we view what's going on here. Now, this episode just looks like a series of incidents and actions, but no reaction. The titan march in the beginning was nice. And, the animation was also nicely done for the action scenes. I liked their decision to make the beast titan body white, letting us know something is different this time. When the characters reached the Paths desert, how the hell did they not see that big ass tree! They were looking here and there, but still managed to miss it until Levi pointed it out! lol I don't like the way the story is focusing so much on romance towards the end. The absence of romance was something that had made this anime great compared to other battle shounens. The way the Marley soldiers were apologising to Eldians felt so out of character. I wish we got to see a scene or two preparing us for this development. I feel like they should have added some new scenes or maybe some old flashbacks, and given this episode a proper kishotenketsu structure, so that this episode would have its own beginning, development, peak and an end, with slowly building tension that doesn't completely depend on the last season. |

| I've been dreading to see the last moments of Hanji being animated, but they gave her proper justice. Absolutely fantastic episode, I wonder how they'll tackle the ending for the second one. |

| I've been having a blast with the return of Vinland Saga this season, but this special final still managed to hit me like a truck! I don't speak Japanese so maybe there's a nuance here that I don't understand. It sucks that this special was divided into 2 parts. I would've preferred if Mappa just released both parts as 1 big movie even if it means I'd have to wait longer. They missed out on the huge money they could've made from a movie. |

| I got so hype when I watched this a few hours ago. Now I'm a bit bummed as I just learned that the 2nd part won't be up until Fall. I didn't even realize it was a 1hr long episode until it just kept going. I loved it overall. The heart-breaking moment left my jaw dropped. Unfortunately, I quite forgot about it by the end cause it happened way too early, and the 60hr episode kept going. I haven't seen the 3-episode version yet but, I feel that would be much fitting way to watch for that "heart-breaking" moment. That "Splinter Wolf" moment though... freakin' awesome! |
