| This series is frusturating. I like the show itself. I love food and I'm obsessed with food related shows. The actual series is funny and I like the story but that fanservice. I've literally never complained about fanservice. It doesn't bother me at all. This is the very first time it has actually bothered me so much. It's unbelievably unnecessary and incredibly stupid. I'm just going to try my best to ignore it. I was loving the episode until the end. Makes me sad because I feel like it's ruining it for me. But I'm gonna watch it till the very end. |

| tune down the ecchi. It has it purpose during the tasting scenes, but those are already pretty long. Will they be like properly 10mins when the series is at its highest level? How do you wanna potray the rise of skill from MC? Also the ecchi out of the tastings is completely unneccessary. Its not even a character trait. |
| Soma made the most delicious rice dish Erina's God Tongue had ever tasted in her whole life but she was so adamant on retaining her dignity as a high-class food taster that she outright rejected his God-tier commoner's food just to get back at his smug attitude. The food never lies and her body is a really bad liar that's for sure. It's great that her Grandfather had managed to get a taste of his food and was so impressed that he felt alive again and overturned Soma's rejected application on the spot. |

| That Souma dish for how simple it is on paper and on first sight, looks absolutely delicious and I love the usage of complex techniques to bring out the best flavors and textures of such homey dishes. A pork roast, a rice dish with some egg on top, but elevated to the next level. This was a ton of fun to watch, especially seeing Erina just try to hypnotize herself to hate the dish due to Souma and his background/style of cooking as she falls prey to how good that dish truly is. She just won over herself in the end, but looks like plans won't be going her way with that cliffhanger. |

| I'm conflicted about what to think of Erina. On the one hand she's stuck up and like Souma said; she'll miss a lot of things from that pillar of hers. (I don't remember exactly what he said, but whatever. The point still stands) On the other hand she's kinda fun with her yuri dominance vibes and her hilarious explanations for not liking food (like the jukebox from last episode). The food looked good though. |
