| Nice to see Otsuu-chan get a full episode after that teaser at the beginning of that Rengokukan episode. Not as good as some of the recent episodes though; probably funnier for people who got more of the references. |

| i love Gin and Kagura lots, but Shinpachi is "meh" for me. i don't hate him but he's probably my least favorite character after the masochist girl who seems to lose her glasses every time (is she Velma from scooby doo or something? come on....) and it certainly doesn't help that he's part of some idol fan club lmao. ik it's a comedy so it's supposed to be funny but i can't grow to like him |

| What an episode (LOL) .... Poor Shinpachi. And also Gin had a small heartbreak XD!!! Knew it that guy was a scumbag. Also I suspected her mother to be the letter sender. She was too cool and also why just showing a worthless letter then. However Otsu still has the Fanclub of Captain Shinpachi. And the Mystery Shadow is real XD!! Detective Conan was there. How Abby Cedy is a name? And also how Maya Sizitzy is a name? What is left? |

| As always, I enjoyed the episode I was actually glad to hear that Otsu's dad was doing well, I really liked him the first time he showed up and it's a good thing that he still really cares for his daughter after he heard the news about the death threats I also thought that it was pretty funny at the part where Gintoki and Kagura literally dressed up as detectives in order to find out the person that sent the death threat to otsu It was also pretty interesting to learn how Shinpachi first met Otsu, and it was pretty funny hearing the amount of censorship that was needed for the song that Otsu was singing in Shinpachi's flashback I also thought that it was pretty funny how Gintoki was just blaming one person for being the killer, and then blaming another, but I also didn't expect Goremon to actually be playing with Otsu's heart as well, but man, Shinpachi really made him piss his pants as well in the bathroom haha It also turned out that the shadow figure was just a fan of Otsu, I can definitely see him joining the Otsu fan club as well. It also turns out that it was Otsu's mother that sent the death threat to her this whole time. I also thought that it was really nice seeing the rest of the Otsu fan club showing up in the final scene, and Shinpachi telling Otsu that they'll always be her fans Overall, I really enjoyed this episode, and I'm definitely excited to see what's next! |

| yet another laugh out loud all the time episode... i lost it when the mystery shadow was introduced and then turned out to be an actual living being. And also when Gintoki talked into a bow tie and in the final minutes he was over-dramatically finger pointing at possible guilty people without having a single clue. |

| I did not know most of these references, guess since a lot of references in general are not from anime, you don't really need to watch many anime after all before watching Gintama. |

| Another funny episode from Gintoki and Kagura even if I didn't get the detective references which did not really matter since it still made me laugh a lot! Although I wish that ending was different, Shinpachi's story was nice and he was her first fan after all. |

| So I somehow ended up watching this episode before the previous one, but I guess that it doesn't matter since they are both episodic. Anyway this one was pretty funny and there were a lot of references, but I didn't catch them all. |
