Plenty of things went on in this episode, but all I'll ever remember is Dr. Ozaki torturing his reanimated wife and killing her. Good holy flaming flying F*CK! As far as anime goes (b/c anyone who's read a decent amount of manga knows that can be MUCH more disturbing) those may be the most horrific scenes I've watched in an anime. The doc is a broken man, but he may be the only one who can do anything about the crisis. |

| Hmm, I feel it really gave the show a sense of depth in terms of how frustrated and dire the situation must be. Character development is also changing rapidly with each stroke of death and tragedy. I am really hooked on this show so far. P.S. His wife bearing the end of his experiments without his explanation was very harsh indeed. |

| Finally, something actually happened! Don't get me wrong, the series hasn't been bad this far, but it really progressed forwards here! The best episode this far, hopefully it'll get a lot better after this! |

Mercilessly killed him for his own selfishness. When he was on his death bed, how could he still suck blood knowing that he was killing someone jus bcoz that someone loves him? If it were me,I would hav starved & died again. And wat about Setsuko whom they slaughtered right in front of the clinic? Did Nao hav even a little regret? So I'd say gruesome as it may seem, Ozaki's decision was probably a very crucial and wise one. It may sound cruel but some things jus need 2 b done for the sake of a greater good. |

| Ugh, Megumi and Masao in one scene. Pure torture. I hate both of them so goddamn much. Megumi had better not hurt Kaori D: I will rage so hard. And damn, I have no words for what Ozaki just did. Just wow. He's completely broken now. It's amazing how far he'd go. |

| Wow.. that was really rather disturbing to watch.. but so well done. I love how the doctor is able to do those unspeakable things to his wife because he's so devoted to finding a way to stop the shiki. It must have been so hard, but he managed it because he knew he wouldn't get another oppurtunity. |

| Shiki is so good. People say it's slow paced, but the build-up is incomparable. <3 Also liked to say that the preview are always very good. They remind me Shinreigari ones. |

| That was quite hard to watch, really intense. The story in this series just keeps getting better. Too bad I find many characters annoying or just stupid. I guess it's expected in any horror movie or series that the characters don't have common sense that would save them. With better characters this could have been really good. |

| That was the best part of the series so far. I'm glad he wasn't clinging to the corpse and trying to convince her not to drink blood. Very logical and wise to find out how to defeat them, though he should've at least apologized. I bet it really hurt. :( A bit maddened there... but now he knows what can kill them. :O |

| A small thing I find horrifying is that Ozaki consciously used the perception that he loved his wife to keep others away from her while he conducted his experiments. Also note that while Megumi was beating Masao for being his usual self, she said he couldn't "even properly kill people". Has Masao kept himself from becoming a murderer? Contrast to Megumi, who likes killing people, and Nao, who wiped out her whole family and kept going even after Megumi mocked her for it. Doesn't this make Masao a better person even though he's an annoying asshole? |
| one of the most disturbing episode ever first the creepy old guy from the eastern castle   and wow the scene with kyouko, one of the most disturbing things i have ever seen. i always wonder if there's any horror anime that will top Higurashi in terms of gore and killing. this could be one of them. i rarely RARELY cringe at moments like this, but wow that's just fucked up ozaki. i just hope Muroi punches him in the face and made him realized what he has done. sure he now knows how to kill shiki's but damn sacrificing someone in that way is just wow. i even read someone here mention the manga is even worse. all in all i think we definitely need shows like this to keep us in the edge of our seats. but damn just damn it's just horrible. im gonna replay it now, yeah im crazy i know. now im interested with the manga, and we'll definitely read it as i finish this series. Studio Daume needs more work like this. they're freaking godlike at animation. |

| 5/5 for Megumi kicking Masao's ass. I wish she killed him. I really really REALLY do not like him. Doesn't help that he has a hideous character design. Also, 5/5 for Ozaki doing work and not chickening out on killing his wife. I felt kind of bad for her but then realized that she'd just be a Shiki who kills people so meh :p I hope Ozaki gets with Ricchan. |

| Well the doctor really has some emotional power to kill his vampire wife, quite nice that he knows all the stuff, though the last part wasn't recorded, I don't think that will make much difference but still great episode! |

| Holy frickin amazing! Disturbing... but AMAZING! I think Toshi's gone a little crazy being able to do that to his wife and all (I felt bad for her), but he did need to get the low down on these Shiki somehow. *shivers* Also... +1 for Megumi beating the crap out of Masao. Looks like Natsu's returning next ep. Can't wait to see what happens next. |
