| Looks like a good show. The character dynamics had a similar feeling to Toradora just a bit I thought - Maybe like Toradora in reverse when Stella loses the bet and is in danger of becoming the servant just like our Ryuuji! :) Ikki is a bit like Touma from Index/Railgun too, with the idea of the weakest actually becoming the strongest. Tempted through the thread but as soon as I see posters dropping hints here and there without using the spoiler button I'm out. All good. Looking forward to episode 2 |

| I've read close to the end of volume two and I felt this episode was a bit rushed but then again it's a 12 episode anime so I'm sure they've done all they could to pack all that in one episode. | This is strangely similar to another ongoing series Gakosen asterisk but I think I like this one better. Well just like what I thought it contains a lot of generic elements that I've seen countless times already but Im gonna stick to this because you never know, I'd probably like this. |

| Oddly similar to Gakusen Toshi Asteriks lol. School, meeting girl in underwear, festival, a battle between the girl and the guy on first episode, both girls are fire users, both girls are princess, etc. I think it's good. But since I watched Gakusen Toshi Asteriks first, I can't help but felt like watching the same anime again. Although I heard this one will have a conclusive romance pairing in it. |

| Nice animation lol Well, Stella is now one of the beautiful animated girls this season, and honestly I thought she would have a deeper voice, and not the full tsundere voice.. But, it doesn't bother me lol That fight scene though, it was so smooth Anyways, awesome first episode.. I can't wait for episode 2 *thumbs up |

| I guess making a new plot is too much of an effort for some animes. I wonder how they can release series like Rakudai Kishi and Gakusen Toshi Asterisk during the same season. I almost felt like watching the same first episode twice. |

| His weakness of magic power and rank reminded me of Mahouka Girl reminded me of the girl from Blade Dance, but with boobs Sure the plot reminded me a lot of different anime, but I liked this anyways. |

| To think that pieces of shit like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Steins;Gate, Gintama, etc. are in the top 10 and unique series like this one don't even come close. [spoiler] Just joking, my actual thoughts: This was pretty mediocre, ten seconds in and I knew I wouldn't be getting an amazing or unique series. | Read the manga past this part, so I kinda got distracted when Ikki was giving the exposition at the beginning. The fun actually started when Stella arrived, and it was as good as I remember it being. At least Ikki isn't a stuttering, bumbling idiot who can't string two sentences together when faced with a pretty girl. Still, taking out the flashbacks and explanations about Ikki's past made the show a bit lacking. I know the characters develop and become more likeable later on, but I'd rather they made us understand Ikki NOW. Oh well, just nitpicking essentially. It was a decent start to the series. I cannot wait to see what happens later in the LNs. |

By the end of the day she's stripping him down and sitting on top of him. Really? This show is trying way too hard. :/ It's interesting that it isn't a harem, though. (For me, that's the only redeeming quality thus far.) |

| Someone actually still reads ANN reviews? For me, they were dead since 2003, when they called KimiNozo a pointless happy-go-lucky romcom even after episode 2. Brutally put, it's a bunch of opinionated idiots, with a minimum fanbase from the elitist hater cesspools. |
