| An anime hasn't made me laugh this hard for quite some time. Brilliant. I think it's funny how the negative reviews seem to have completely missed the point of the show. Believe it or not, there are people pushing for a society like that, and there are societies like that that actually exist. Saudi Arabia anyone? Has anyone been keeping up with the direction India has gone in, banning sex toys and more recently banning pornography? People need to realize why an anime like this even exists. Japanese laws censor genitalia and until recently banned dancing in clubs and bars, all in the name of public decency. There are constantly people pushing for higher morals and the banning of materials they deem offensive.This anime is lashing back at those people. The problem is those people are too dense and can't see on the perverted jokes to see the real message. Anna isn't some stereotypical yandere. She's the product of a sexually oppressive society. She is exactly the kind of person that would be produced by the society that people who would ban this anime would advocate. "It's so lewd. It's nothing but lewd jokes." No, you're an idiot who is much like the brainwashed sheltered students in the anime. Let's face it people. There isn't really a better way to express the message than this. |

On another note, that ending scene was intense. Like, oh god, he was on the edge of exploding and I was tense and laughing at the same time from the cut away images. I guess the version I watched didn't have any instructions during the ED; it was exactly the same for me. Not that I mind, but I wanted to see what everyone was talking about.
