| This show is so fucking good. I feel bad for Tsubaki. And it sucks for the guy she's with too. And it looks like other musicians want revenge on Kousei. That guy's hair is a bit out there haha. I'm excited for this competition. |

| Tsuuubaki !! this girl is so poor ;^; .. it's not fair for another girl to take kousei from her .. >:( and that last scene... broke my hart because he didn't even do that for her.. he did it cause kaori told him to... but seriously if tsubaki's relationship with kousei won't work, at least bring another character to be with her lol .. I can't stand seeing her in pain </3 |
| You know what I absolutely HATE about this show? That I have no idea which girl to root for. Both of them are so great. Makes me get a feeling so complicated... |

| This series takes an outrageous amount of time to get to the point and adds internal monologues even when the scenes would be perfectly understandable without them. |

| Kaori is like a storm that's completely swept Arima off of his feet. I liked her quote about music transcending words. It really rings true and that's why even when there's language barriers, music is still something that can be related to and connect with each other through regardless. I'm not necessarily bothered by love triangles, but they usually don't grab my attention. Tsubaki's feelings for Arima, however, are really dynamic and I'm being completely drawn into these characters. |

| Hmm. I like Kaori as a character, but I honestly don't think I ship her with Arima. I feel bad for Tsubaki ;-; Poor girl, I seriously hope she gets over Kousei later in the show because I don't see them getting together. Geez, this is why I hate competitions. Those two are scary o.o |

| Another good episode with very good development. I'm not sure if I think Kousei will pul through and win with these (supposedly) tough rivals, but we'll see. And yup, looks like we're going to get a love triangle/square. |

| This show is way too dramatic. It's starting to piss me off. I want to see Arima rip everyone's balls off in this competition but if the show doesn't straighten the fuck up I'm gonna drop it. Further, Kaori doesn't behave her age. It's obvious she's just a catalyst for Arima. Everything she says and does is for the sake of developing him as a character. That's not a good thing. Characters shouldn't exist for the sake of other characters. |

Also, as someone who took seven years of piano lessons, I find it ridiculous that his playing is mediocre just because he can’t hear the notes. If he’s such a protégé then his playing should be perfectly fine. Perhaps not as good as if he could hear the notes, but it definitely shouldn’t be as sloppy as what he’s been playing. |

| I completely understand how this series is definitely not for everyone. The melodrama's dialed up to 11. And to boot, the episodes oscillate wildly between SD-animated "lol-bits" and soap-opera-level set-pieces. But I love this series. With all its SD characters, hyper-drama, everything. It's so shamelessly over-the-top. No apologies. My two favorite parts of this episode though: This. . . . was pure gold: And this part at the end when Ari and Tsubaki are talking about totally different things: |

| I want Tsubaki to date her senpai D;> but I don't want her to go through with him just to get over Kousei cuz that's not a good thing to do esp since her senpai truly likes her :3 Kou likes Kaori though, and she's the heroine, and he has a bigger part than Ryouta sooooooooo... I feel like she shouldn't pursue what seems to be the author's intention of slowly pairing the pianist and violinist together. They have more in common, even though she's the new girl. Hate to admit it, but if this were reality, Tsubaki shouldn't waste her time on Kousei. He's infatuated with Kaori and she's painting his black and white world in color. |

Oh Tsubaki Tsubaki, in the part of the childhood friend that gets NTR'd. The jealousy attacks in a bad moment and she makes mistakes, and then suffers for them. Yeah, the girl has to calm down but remember that she's 14! I'm sure most of us were at least twice as dumb by that age. It's so obvious for her that before Kaori, he didn't play the piano, now she got in his life and now he plays... Let alone the jumping at the river. It's difficult for her to recognize that Kaori changed him in so little time. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -  By the way, what's up with constantly making Watari look like an asshole so we don't feel bad about him "losing" Kaori? PD: Random and cliché bad guy of the story evil grin is cliché (regarding the super saiyan boy, the red eyes girl and her mother...) I mean, I really laughed watching them do that evil smile outta some shounen anime xD |

| Tsubaki doesn't want the distance between her and Kousei to be far away. Only now can she feel like this when Kousei is not by her side all the time, but she brought all this upon herself when she invited Kaori and Kousei to meet on their first meeting, and it's with the intention of making Kousei happier, which it did, but in turn it made Tsubaki herself feels out-of-game both in her own sport and her life. But wow, Kousei gladfully knows how Tsubaki felt and gave his whole back to her. This made sure that Tsubaki's uneasiness won't ever change to jealousy towards Kaori. Well, seems like some old competitor from the OP is here! |
