More Nise than Bake but still pretty good. I see that the extensive fanservice is here to stay.

Did i catch a little homage to Kamina of Gurren Lagann at one point?

Now is the entire anime done already like mal says or did it just start?

Nekomonogatari:Kuro is just 1 Novel and they crammed all the content into 4 episodes. So, yes, its done already.

More tedious fan service for the sake of it. I knew that after the phenomenal commercial success of Nisemonogatari the chances were slim to nonexistent that the series would return to its more toned down and character-driven Bakamonogatari roots but it still somewhat pains me to see what it has become, especially when they used the track from Bakemonogatari in the last scene which was like an echo of its former quality.

If you don't like service then you should stop watching the series. Bakemono is the tamest of the novels by a large margin.

You should probably just buy some lotion and get over it.

This and ErunnoToo do you mean that because they add some ecchi scenes between the dialogues the quality somehow dropped?

Like it or dislike it, it's naturally just a matter of taste. However, objectively speaking, the -monogatari anime series has a unique style that really stands out, whether it be the art style, the music, the pacing, etc. Of course some people won't like it. But I personnally think the constant weird stills and head tilts and such give an interesting rythm to the story. I also think it matches the novels well. The surreal, absurd backgrounds are also to my liking as I feel they efficiently set the mood.
Also, there really aren't that many characters with a similar personnality to Araragi-kun: heroic, realistically perverted, somewhat dark with the funniest internal monologues.

I feel like I can relate to the first part. I guess this anime helped me out to realize it was just sexual frustration, if they won't reach another conclusion that is.

The -monogatari series is pretty much all about conversations...
I mean, both Bake- and Nisemonogatari pretty much consists of scenes filled with conversations.

Oh god this was fucking hilarious. More yandere Tsukihi and got some Karen service too. Dat imouto boob grab.

I recently just re-watched Bakemonogatari a while ago, it seems a lot of stuff in Ep 11 were said again in this episode as well.

Lmao'd at Araragi when Hanekawa told him she'd do anything.

Good to see that the fanservice part isn't as big as in Nise. I hope this is going to continue like that.
And of course the dialogue was wonderful, the art was marvelous and the comedy was pretty good too.

My New Year's holiday is now complete. First Kokoro Connect and now this...

All that could make it better would be for Kizumonogatari to be released...

On another note, I'm actually a fan of Shaft's treatment of these novels (although it is somewhat tedious doing the stop and rewind to read the two frame flash of text screens), but it isn't absolutely necessary to do this with text and conversation heavy shows. Zetsuen no Tempest did four or five episodes which were basically all conversation and logic with three of the main characters frozen in position for the entire sequence. I think both treatments work.

Oh yes! Hanekawa! Feels so refreshing to hear Yui Horie voicing Hanekawa again!
As usual, a dialogue driven episode. Can't help but be entertained!

Ahaha. Groping Tsukihi's breast! Hahaha.
I kinda don't like the art of the Tsukihi gag faces though.

And a reference for Joe! Ahahaha.

There really is no reason to watch Nise before Nekomono, maybe even Bake, if not for the little recap in the beginning of the episode.

I would actually suggest that riikaz first watched Bakemonogatari then read Kizumonogatari if you enjoy reading novels. After that you should continue watching Nise --> Neko.
