I'm glad we're going through things at the pace we have, it's tight but also leaves enough room for extra scenes that people actually remember. Sacrificing to put a blood on the body for a bite to the neck but Narancia just powering through it and winning by brute force is simply not JoJo-like. JoJo's wins are always wins of the mind. The ending was DBZ-stupid-like. I still love Golden Wind but after this episode it's not perfect to me anymore. Just like I love Rose of Versailles but Oscar surviving the light in his eye (referring to the duel in 12th episode) by blocking a bullet with a gun is just lazy writing and puts you off. A show is perfect up until moments such as these. |

As if the entire fight wasn't mindgames prior, Narancia's means of cornering Tiziano and Squallo made the fight feel like a cat-and-mouse chase, it was damn well done. Every step felt earned by Narancia since he used his disadvantageous state to actually unnerve the enemy into revealing themselves and blasting them for giving up the really damn good start they had on potentially killing him. It was a cool finisher but it was cool because it was fully earned. Squalo should've covered himself with Tiziano's body. |

Surafd said: I don't agree. This was a great fight, way better than fights like Soft Machine, Man in the Mirror or Babyface I would've enjoyed it more if the way the fight was setup wasn't contrived. The entire fight only followed through because the whole gang (excluding Giorno) suddenly couldn't grasp that there was something wrong with Narancia, when they know they were gonna be hunted down by Stand users sent by the Boss. Even for Jojo, it was hard to swallow. There were other nitpicky bits that bothered me too. It's better than the Babyface fight and Kraftwerk fight. Man in the Mirror was a way better fight though. And I enjoyed the mystery and tension in the Soft Machine fight. |
| I've seen some people ask "but at the end why didn't they use sweat or Narancia's bleeding tongue". Clash is only as big as the pool of liquid it uses, if it used something so small, it wouldn't be able to do much with Narancia |

| RIP Squalo and Tiziano, they didn't long last, but still gave us an entertaining fight, showing once again how in JoJo, an apparently unimpressive ability can become deadly when used right. Narancia was badass as heck this episode, probably his most awesome moment in the series. I also didn't even remembered his strategy to track Tiziano in the manga, so I got even more impressed when it was revealed he wanted to fool him. Having someone as competent as Giorno helping sure amde things better. Also next week, how to forget one of the most intense and thrilling fights of the manga, the fight against |

| another great fight for Narancia with another interesting use of Gold Experience by Giorno Tiziano and Squalo were a great duo, I love how Araki really tried to make each of the minor villains in this part unique from each other, compared to others like Part 3 where a lot of them seemed pretty one dimensional |
| I hated this battle in the manga but it was actually pretty cool here. Actually, I feel that way about a lot of the stands in part 5. |

| Squalo and Tizano were so gay they made everyone forget Bruno's infamous gay moment from episode 1. You know, where he revealed that he can lick sweat off guys to identify the TASTE OF A LIAR. Now that could have really helped in this arc! |

| So Abba, Bucc and Mista were completely pointless in this episode for no reason. Why can't they hear Narancia fighting? Why does no one react after the explosion? Why don't they even apologized for being useless after the fight? Man I like Jojo but it's clear that Araki has trouble (for most of the time) writing convincing battles with a large powerful cast. Other than that, it was an okay episode for JoJo: some clever stuff in it, some dumb ones (no one in the street react to Narancia bleeding and cuting his tingue?!), a good one-liner after the kills and our heroes being nearly unkillable when the plot needs it. |

| Aside from the plot twists in the fight, the most remarkable is the characterization of the antagonists. The Squalo & Tiziano duo showcased how great the antagonists in VA can be. They are not just one-dimensional villains executing their mission. They also care for each other to an extent that one can sacrifice himself for anther just like our protagonists do. That really fleshed out the characters and made them quite relatable. For me, part 5 has the most impressive minor villains among the franchise, which is also one of the major reasons why it’s my most favorite part. As much as I love the interaction between the duo, there’s actually no such intimate skinship in the manga, but I approve this kind of fan service David Production provided. Still prefer the ASB “Vola Vola”. Yamashita-san’s version was too deep for my taste, but it’s understandable considering that Narancia was in the situation of broken throat. And, JOJO & plane in the next ep, we all know how well this combination is gonna end. |

| I guess that Stand users going all out against one another in a "quick draw" manner is something like an homage to possibly Gangster movies as it's really prevalent in Part 5.
