| At this point I'm a lot more concerned with future rights, especially the uncensored BD release. Is Funimation going to sit on that too so there may be a multi-year wait, if ever, to see this legally in its original form? It'd be ridiculous to force people to either buy the original Japanese discs or pirate it as the only options (and the Japanese release won't have subs or dub of course). Hopefully Funimation just passes it all along to someone else asap so we don't have to deal with more bs. |

| Really disappointed at the lack of competence over this. There's no way that somewhere along the way for licensing the property they weren't told about at least some of the sexual content in this. Anyone who has a desire of streaming this legally no longer can. This also effects the English actors and the translators for this too. Most of the actors liked the show from what I can tell. My biggest concern is what's going to happen to the rights now. Will we ever see this show streamed legally? Will it ever get an English dub? Will we even get a blu ray release? Or this is going to be stuck in legal limbo? Honestly, this is pretty unprecedented. You also have to wonder about the legal implications for this. Funimation advertised this as part of their streaming service, they even produced a dubbed episode. Now they quietly take it down with no official statement on any of their social media? It makes me wonder if this falls under false advertising? So many questions, not enough answers. Guess we'll have to wait and see what happens. |

| My guess is that some of the VAs on the dub kicked off over the content. I've heard certain VAs on the show are actually denying they voiced certain characters in the show, even though they did. Funimation subsequently shit the bed and dropped the show. Funimation are massively stupid with this. You could see a mile off what the content was so why did they licence it? If in doubt leave it for another streaming service to pick up. |

| At all the people that dislike it because it is ecchi, I don't like ecchi, but I really like this show. Why, because it is hilarious! They explore monster girl concepts in the sexual sense. The 'sexy' parts give me nothing, the artstyle is absolutely not for me and I don't find any of the content particularly sexy (experiences may vary), but the world is fleshed out, the characters are fun and the review content is more thoughtful than one might expect. For me as someone that dislikes ecchi, this is the best pure fun show of the season. Also it is quite hilarious that Funimation pushes Plunderer on their official site, a show that is way worse in the way it treats fanservice and with a main character that is essentially a sex offender, but that apparently is okay. A show about prostitution (so far all the females are headstrong and in charge) that makes fun of monster girl concepts by thinking them to the (sexual) end is not. |
