I've decided to use Haikyuu!!: Riku vs. Kuu for B.15 (Watch an anime with a total duration of 16 minutes or more that's rated PG-13), but its duration time on MAL is listed as Unknown even though both episodes are 20 min+. Is it alright to use it for the challenge if the duration is unknown? And if it isn't what are the odds MAL will update it soon? Should I just use another anime? Thanks in advance =) |

Thanks in advance =) If the duration were to remain unknown (which is unlikely) then it would not be okay to use. It just released so the duration should be updated fairly soon. If you want to be safe though, wait until it is no longer unknown to use it for a duration base item. |

Can I work on multiple sections at the same time, or I have to finish Bronze before I start Silver, for example? |

  What do I do? (A quick-start guide for the 2020 Anime Watching Challenge) Hello neighbors! Have you read the Rules and How to Participate posts, but still need a little help signing up for the 2020 Anime Watching Challenge? Here's a quick-start guide to get you going in the right direction. First, Find the sign-up code in the Bronze Medalist post in the sign-up thread. Click the button labelled "Show Sign Up Code for Bronze Medalist", and copy everything inside the box that appears: Then, Scroll all the way up and click "Post New Reply" in the top left corner of that page. On the new page, click inside the large empty box and paste the code that you copied. Then just click submit. It's okay, you don't have to edit anything yet: Next, MAL will redirect you to your fresh new post. Look at your post number in the top-right corner of your post, remember it, and then click Edit in the bottom-right corner of your post: Finally, Fill out your information in the sign-up form:
Now... Go watch some dang anime! Remember, any anime you started watching in 2020 can be used for this challenge, regardless of when you posted your sign-up form. Did you binge-watch Yuru Campβ³ on January 5, but didn't sign up for the challenge until January 11? You can still use it! Some tips:

Katanagatari is the only one I've watched that fits D.07, and it's fantastic. However; a lot of people also highly recommend Hellsing Ultimate. |

| Here's one with an 8+ rating, 6 episodes of 71 mins each: Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin. As it is a prequel to the original 1979 Gundam, it should be watchable stand alone - whether or not you watch the movies or old series after it. Please feel free to add it to your blog posting. |

| I know that there is a disclaimer that the Diamond section can be worked on at anytime listed in the challenge rules, but it might not be a bad idea to remove the "Remember that you can only work on one section at a time." piece of text from the Diamond section in order to remove any chance of people getting confused. edit: didnt see the above conversation. still think this should be considered. |

You must complete 2 items in Bronze before moving on to Silver regardless of doing the Neat Freak restriction. Going back to previously completed sections would mess up both Neat Freak and the regular challenge in terms of watch dates. Diamond is the only exception in that items in Diamond may be started at any time but for Neat Freak you would still need to do your items within in order. |
