Welcome to my little corner of MAL!
Just someone who watches and reads manga on occasion. Formerly ToosokaRin, so feel free to call me Fox or Rin. Some goals for 2023 is to reach 1500 anime completed, complete AWC23, and watch more than add to my PTW.

Many many happy returns of the day!
I noticed you've never dropped an anime before. Is there a specific reason for that? I'm also one of those people who stick it out till the end, though it can be frustrating at times.
I'm doing well; I recently moved to Switzerland for work after graduating. The living and working conditions are good, but balancing work, exercise, and cooking leaves little time for anime and sleep. Do you manage to find time for anime amidst your busy schedule, or do you struggle to keep up?
As for the remake of Spice and Wolf, I prefer to wait until all the episodes are out before binge-watching the series. Waiting for the next episode can be nerve-wracking, so I find it more enjoyable to watch it all at once.
Regarding Apothecary Diaries, the anime does a commendable job of staying faithful to the manga. I particularly admire Mao Mao for her intelligence, curiosity, and independent spirit. It's fascinating to see her navigate through various events while trying to avoid getting too involved—it's almost like following a detective's investigation. As for Frieren, while there were some slow moments, I was pleasantly surprised by the animation quality. I thoroughly enjoyed the series and hope for a second season. You mentioned there were a few aspects of Frieren you didn't like—what were they?
I also started watching anime on TV as a kid, with classics like Naruto and Detective Conan. However, it was during the lockdown that my interest in anime really grew, especially in drama series. Do you have any favorite drama anime? My preferred genres are mystery, drama, and psychological thrillers.
As for your interest in ecchi, harem, and GL anime, while they're not my favorites, I don't mind them as long as the content focuses on more than just fan service. For instance, Mushoku Tensei is a harem anime with ecchi elements, but it also delves into character development, which I appreciate. Have you watched Mushoku Tensei?
Have a wonderful day!
She's just the right kind of walking red flag
You have really nice favorite anime especially Spice and Wolf and Plastic Memories that's awesome i really like them.
Both Spice and Wolf and Plastic Memories captivate with rich characters and poignant storytelling, delving into human emotion and relationships. They showcase the creators' mastery and the storytelling potential of anime. (^▽^)
Btw how did you start to watch anime and what are your favorites genres ?
Have a nice day :)
I hope i can hear from you !
Happy to hear the club has been useful to you in some form or the other.
1. We have been updating and tracking scores manually for almost 10 years now, so i think we were entitled to a short break :) A bigger reason was we wanted to move the score tracking to an automatic or semi-automatic system, we've been trying to do this for a while now but trying to do it mid season with other responsibilities was too time consuming so we decided to take a seasonal break to put our full concentration on the project. Unfortunately it wasn't enough but good progress has been made, we will continue manually updating this season with the hope that the automation will happen before this season concludes and will be operational from next season. All this is on admin end, i don't expect users will notice too much of a change, its all to make the work a bit easier for us.
2. Its usually 48hrs after an episode ends, but due to other IRL responsibilities we're having difficulties continuing to commit to daily updates as we usually do. That's why this season, for the first time ever, we've decided to move to a weekly bulk update, so once a week we will do an update for all shows regardless of when an episode airs, you'll notice in our threads we don't record a score in correspondence to episodes but rather to weeks, so hopefully this will translate even better to this weekly format.
Hope this helped.
I see you've watched Raildex! Any plans to watch the Accelerator anime and the third parts of Railgun and Index?
