| This is one of those shows, that the exaggerated imaginative candy world is more funny and entertaining versus the actual setting of the show. I would love to see more of those, like the Gundam reference and the slice-of-life candy drama at the 2nd half. First half was kinda flat with the jokes, mostly because it's one of those seen-that-laughed-before type of joke. Second half was better. I miss the father from the first episode, that guy was something else. The protags themselves don't have that juice to tickle your funny bone. There's also this disconnect between culture I feel, from the Candy promotion and the skits based on the Candy, maybe it's nostalgic and relatable to the people who have grown up with this. But to me, I just stare blankly going "Ooooh, interesting back-story for the candy" but nothing more than that. Predictable plot is one thing but predicting the joke's punchline is another. This show is lighthearted and fun it's own way but I'm definitely not the target audience. |

| Episode that he can play his cards, unleashing some fetishes like meganekko and that of drunk girl after not even a sip of alcohol, but also taking advantage of some references to cult series and more, in short there for everyone. Drawings and animations are very good, good, Studio Feel! Characters more sympathetic. |

| Okay first ep was average, but this was...uhhh. Not a fan of malegaze camera, not even a single character is interesting, there does not seem to be any sort of coherent story and the weird crazyeyes character designs creepy me out like nothing else. Dropped. |

| The overdramatic nature is funny sometimes, but this show is just boring to me. A few chuckles here and there are about all it can do. I'll see it to the end as usual, but it doesn't seem for me. Hotaru and Saya are pretty cool, but Coconuts is a huge pile of nothing. |

| Another funny episode. It's odd how it feels like not much happens in every episode. I know it's supposed to be more of a mis-adventures type thing. I thought the drunk scene was going to be iffy, but I actually found it to be quite funny. Loved the Fue Ramune cutaway, that was great. |

| Why isn't Hotaru dead from eating all that cheap candy? Just because it's made in Japan doesn't make it any healthier. Ugh, disgusting cheap candy. Also, Kokonotsu is so fucking bland, I want to smack the shit out of him. He has no redeeming qualities and I don't understand why Saya even likes him. Is there a shortage of good men in their town that she has no choice but to fall for that loser? Hotaru and You-san are the only characters keeping me interesting for now. They could have their own show and I'd watch it. The humor is subpar and pretty fucking stupid most of the time, powder that shook off from a crumbly carbohydrate stick falling onto her chest is supposed to trigger some emotions from him? Jesus Fucking Christ, Kokonotsu, you act like you're fucking 10 years old. How the hell did she get drunk over fake beer? |

Someone like Seki-kun would great to add fun to this kind of anime, but no, add more beta pussies who get shocked at the slightest hint of an adult topic.
