Please take a look at this good news!

Your favorite manga is getting anime adaptation.

I just replied on discord.

If you travel a lot, it might not be ideal, but it's better to make some progress then don't make any at all. 1 is better than 0!

An upside is that with Anki you can sync with your phone - PC and vice versa, so basically you can study anywhere.

There's too many bad apps and guides out there that won't lead to anything. Just grind vocabulary with Anki and read and listen constantly. Lyrics work really good too. If you have any doubts or need help, the answer will definitely be on jalup (there's lots of articles there and the author is really nice and helpful), but I can help too.

A funny video about the learning process:

I like that touhou song, it's quite catchy. Are you uploading your touhou collection again? I can't get enough of it.

Nana Mizuki - Bright Stream

Please tell me what you think of this.

"I am even scared to keep listening to your other links in fears they won't top/equal the beauty of these first two."

Some more really great ones!

Mystic Pendulum

Thanks for posting Hanashirube, I like it.

I'm getting really excited too, as I'm listening to a lot of them while posting them. Currently repeatedly listening to Void and Arabesque, so much magic.

Music really works like a massive motivation generator. If you've started studying, constantly play music in the background. Listen to as many albums as you can. The hardest hurdle is starting and once you've overcome that there's no turning back, thanks to music.

If you ever need help with language learning or Japanese feel free to ask me. It's something I'm the most focused on nowadays. Learning a new language can change the way you act, think, and see things. Maybe I'll become a polyglot one day.

I forgot to post this one.

The amazingness in this one is really strong. I think you might love it even more than the ones I posted. For me it's probably one of my top favorites.

BiSH - My landscape. I became really intrigued immediately after only listening 5 seconds to the song. I love it when songs can do this, it just sound really great. Some songs can take a while to grow and love but some make you captivated immediately. Same with MONDO GROSSO - ラビリンス, such great sound. シシド - カフカ, not as strong as the former two for me but still really interesting and pretty good sounding. Where do you find these artists?

I'm going to listen to albums of the above artists soon, probably starting with BiSH first.

Centifolia I like too, been listening to it too recently.

I've been meaning to post this Touhou song for a while, I really adore it:

Been listening a lot to KikuoHana - 破裂破裂破裂. This song is just so insane, the bass pierces through my soul every time.

You can't go wrong with Rurutia. You can find a lot of her most popular songs on YouTube.

Another masterclass song by GEM.

Enjoy :)

雨の日に is definetely worth saving and to add to my collection. It sounds quite epic.

籠の鳥の孤独 is really incredible. It reminds me a bit of 追想の郷 but even more epic. I've listened to some of her stuff randomly through shuffle, but didn't know she had stuff this good. Motivates me to check out more of her music.

Bang! is a masterpiece btw, it's even better than 真夏のサイダー, but slightly. Bang's lyrics are fucking crack lol.

That S.H.E's song does sound memorable, it'll probably get even better if I listen to it more. Same with the Korean song, which sounds really chill.

This song is so great it deserves an embed on your profile.

There's so much stuff I could recommend, but the majority are not on YouTube. Nana Mizuki's Neogene Creation album is one of the best albums I've listened to in quite a while. Favorite songs are ALONE ARROWS, UNLIMITED BEAT, Rock Ride Riot, and Please Download. I nearly like every song in this album. It's definitely worth your time. You'll be happy adding this amazing album to your collection <3.

I love Blindspot from start to finish. Every second of it is perfect to me, its sound, and the video. GEM has more play counts than the majority of Japanese artists I've listened to. Kinda crazy.

I was wondering why I couldn't find those DAOKO songs you posted at first. 真夏のサイ is from her first EP, and Bang! from her latest album, which I did not have downloaded yet. 真夏のサイ is a phenomenal masterpiece btw, thanks for posting it.

All of the buta-otome albums are on JPS. Even their newest album, which they released 2 months ago. There is actually quite a lot of touhou music there, the most popular circles at least. Also, when you're on an artist's page there, ctrl + f "download selected". This box functions with checkboxes you'll see next to every torrent. This way you can batch download every single and albums of an artist with one click.

Those buta-otome album arts are so amazing.

I like all of those Chata songs, favorite might by my second one. It's hard to go wrong with her ever.
Kou_ Jan 8, 2018 1:57 PM
Pretty well. Still grinding JPN. That's kinda how you should see it, a big grind that you'll get better with over time. It's time much better spent than endlessly browsing reddit and stuff, anyways.

My favorite GEM song

Everything about this song is a masterpiece. The video's visuals are beautiful, the vocals are beautiful, the lyrics really hit me (there's English annotations). I'm grateful to have found her. She made MV's for every song in her Heartbeat album. That's extreme dedication. Kind of makes me wonder, if there are more amazing Chinese artists like her. Second favorite might be "Therefore".

Some of my favorite Buta-otome songs of late

^(careful, this is extremely addicting)

Also, I listened to DAOKO - 水星 and it's incredible. She is indeed one of the greatest artists out there. I remember when I was first listening to it, I was like "What is this sorcery" and why is it so pleasing to listen to. It's kinda unique and not like the regular j-pop.
