| Sweeping polls are too difficult to manage without being overinclusive or feeling exclusive. You could just search the romance tag and tell from there generally what people like more (though I hate MAL's romance tagging, often misleading and lacking). A better question to pose would probably be what makes a romance enjoyable, with examples. |

| I'd go with Itazura na Kiss & Clannad: After Story. However, this is solely based on what I've watched so far. Itazura na Kiss - I like the relationship and character build up between the two characters. They go through hardships and slowly fall in love. Clannad: After Story - I also like the relationship growth with the couple. |
