If you're the only ones who can operate an Eva and you don't know when an Angel will appear there are a lot of sacrifices that must be made.It's a pity they skipped the school trip. | Asuka. Best character. Enough said. I'm not into Tsunderes but for some reason I really like her personality. She complains a lot just like how she complained about her suit and her anti-heat Evangelion. She tries to get Shinji's attention and gets jealous when she thinks other girls, Rei, are surpassing her in some way. A perfect girl for me. I'm starting to think that Second Impact and Angels has more to it than meets the eye. How come they wanted to capture that Angel alive? How come they don't tell anything about the Second Impact? I bet the government is part of this. Oh and how did Unit 01 save Unit 02 if it can't withstand such temperatures since it's only a prototype? How... okay that's enough. :> |

The first episodes, I think, had a dark and somehow desperate atmosphere which I liked (For example Rei being brought to the Eva on a hospital bed). But then the show quickly degraded into your generic giant robot fight. It's still entertaining, so I'm not complaining. Not gonna give it a very high score though. |

| I hate the labeling of Tsundrere and Moe and all that other crap. It takes away from the characterization of a character in my mind. I liked the forshadowing with Thermal Reactions. Rei was brilliant. She knew that requesting to pilot Unit 2 would cause Asuka to freak out and accept the mission even with a fatsuit. And I have a feeling that Asuka's parents are deeply involved in second impact. The timing is perfect for her birth, as well as a lot of forshadowing thats been done in small moments in the past two episodes/ Penguins should be shipped via express, by the why. |

| There's nothing exceptional to this anime (well, except it feels like "mecha-has-gone-completely-wrong"). It doesn't get more interesting, even though this is almost half-way mark. |
| If Asuka would have died, I think there could have been some good emotional backbone reinserted to the story. But, as most of us predicted, Shinji had to be the hero and save the day. Not that I'm upset, but it would have been something different. I'm kind of getting tired of seeing Asuka, though. I think we've seen more of her than Rei as a main character. Hopefully, that changes. Looking forward to the next! |

| Magma looked incredible. Thoughts from Episode 10 I like how Kaiji is running whole time with someone this time he didn't seemed interested in Asuka like he was more interested in Misato and Ritsuko in previous epiosdes. And also when Asuka showed Shinji her swimming suit. Shinji's face was priceless. Oh it just might to be coincidence that science helps them in magma battle later. I wonder why Asuka and Rei don't get used to with each others. Shouldn't all EVA pilots to be friends together? Or was it only that because Asuka couldn't get good answers from Rei when they met first time. Magma operation again planned by Misato. She really has many plans :O This episode also showed that how cold heart person Gendo really is he don't care about people or world but his own interests. So Angels can also level up with magma cool! Are we going to see more evolution with angels. That Angel was just like 5th Angel like those shark fangs and all that stuff. Interesting. Misato and Kaiji have both experienced "Second Impact" hope we get some flashback episodes soon. And when Misato and Asuka were talking about Asukas's past could this be a hint next couple episodes? maybe who knows. Best parts: Asuka in big-sized magma suit :DD Also seeing Kaiji with Asuka in shopping haha. We need more development for Rei soon. |

It's interesting how Asuka seemed sort of....hostile to Rei in this episode. She didn't seem to like Rei volunteering OR taking Shinji's attention away from her at the pool. One thing I love about Eva is how they throw in these little details that make the characters feel alive. |

I think I'm enjoying it even more than the first time I saw it now and I'm not even at the good stuff yet. |
