| Oh Oczy...I mean, that type of negativity hurts to watch. It seems he has no real ambition in life than to reach "heaven" despite being a talented fighter. Kinda got what I expected out of this show given its nature. Oczy is a deceptively complex character for comparing the heaven and Earth. A very interesting perspective from his character. |

| I mean, yeah it was only natural that with our protagonist dead, we'd get a new and improved one. They even replaced our boy Rafal in the OP for this new guy. Looks like this time around, he's a swordfighter that right off the bat just shows us how strong he really is. Though, by the looks of it, it's not like he enjoys killing people. So how does this all connect to heliocentrism exactly? Well, his friend is a fanatic about it... lol. Though, the poor guy just can't win and actually had not only a failed suicide attempt, but all of dude's research went down the drain when Mars did a good ol' retrograde motion. You would expect for this guy to be new guy's Hubert, but nah, it was actually just another heretic who told them where all of Rafal's research was... how does he know hmmmm??? Story just keeps on getting better. |

| So far it's almost a flawless adaptation, even the little fights are animated quite well! Hope it maintains this quality throughout its course. Everything else was just perfect, they probabile skipped only some pages here and there |
| Love the new op & ed. I thought the little girl would be an MC of her own, but she seems to be in a trio with the current guy & the guy with the eyepatch based on the ED. And yeah, she's totally Nowak's daughter, no doubt about it. The resemblance is crazy. |

| Anime of the season man easily. This is one of two shows you need to be on if you don’t watch anything else this season along with Ao no Hako. So they’ve updated the OP visuals to focus more on the new protagonist. Still heartbroken about Rafal but respect to the author for creating a true epic where we pass from generation to generation. Oczy couldn’t be more different from Rafal in terms of age, occupation and backstory, yet they’re connected by their intellectual curiosity and desire for more in life. Oczy believes there has to be more to life and the universe than what conventional doctrine allows him to believe and I enjoyed seeing him grapple with this internal conflict over the course of the episode. Also, just like Rafal he kinda gets roped into the whole scientific heresy thing unknowingly. It’s either turn Gras in for being tempted by the heretic or help him out and eventually fall in love with astronomy. We all know which he’ll choose. Thank God there were brave men like this who helped push science and human knowledge forward in the face of persecution. Idk if I could be brave enough. Idk what sort of training they’re giving these heretics, but they are pretty damn good at getting people to throw away the safety of their conformist beliefs and risk potential execution lol. As Rafal said, killing these people won’t stop the ideas from spreading. The years don’t look like they’ve been kind to Nowak and is bro ever gonna wash those damn bloodstains off or what lmao? | Getting Nowak on their trail can't possibly end well for our guys but can't really blame Graz in his state of mind. Mars really did our dude dirty (or so he thinks) Speaking of Nowak, it's an interesting if not unhygienic detail that the blood soaked in his sleeves are still part of his "uniform" after all these years. |
| There is not much I can say about this show anymore. You know it's anime of season, I know it's anime of season, everyone watching it knows it's anime of season. The only anime keeping it from also being anime of the year is Oshi no Ko (imo), but that can change in the future. My biggest concern right now is, considering the density of the story, can this show keep us engaged for 25 episodes? There is also the possibility of the animation quality dropping in the second half, but I've come to expect that from modern anime. And this one in particular doesn't need to rely on animation to be good. As long as the writing and direction is good, I would be happy with a PowerPoint presentation. |
| We have our new protag. and alongside him his friend, Gras who ikes stargazing and is interested in stars but has other expectations as well. As for Oczy, he believes in heaven and doesn't look interested at all, at times. But, looks like their life is about to change now after meeting that Heretic. This was production-wise the best episode so far, good storyboards and nice direction just like other episodes before but it had some nice cuts here and there. Can't wait to see the journey of our new friends. Slightly updated OP visuals. |

| I still can't get out Rafal's death scene out of my head but here we are with the continuation of the story with the new protag. This guy is an assassin/duelist so he won't be helpless in combat. He's completely in despair by the world but that's about to change. The hopes and dreams Rafal left will be inherited and hope it'll come to realisation this time around. |

| The dude thats all depressed about Mars going backwards in its movement just needs to be Heliocentrisimpilled. The old man gave him the help he needed to make the next step in his research, hence why he freed him from bondage. We shall see, we already know they will find the repository, due to last episodes ending scene, what happens after that will eventually connect to the other protagonists shown in the OP & ED. |

| I see Nowak.. I see danger. And the worst thing, he's tagging along with the duo and mister heretic, who for some obvious reasons kinda reminding of Hubert. Now though, I'm not sure what would happen with that old man.. I think I'm, but still, he did his thing. Upto Oczy and Gras now to know the "actual" truth about the world. Top-notch storytelling till now btw. |

| While Gras was disappointed that Mars does not rotate in a perfect circle I think that with the research others before him did he might figure out that the rotation is elliptic. Also, seeing Nowak again doesn't look good for the trio in the carriage but at least Oczy is a good fighter if it comes down to that. |

| The power of belief can be amazing, but when it's gone, it can be a crushing feeling... Admittedly, I was a bit concerned after last week's episode about where the show would go after what happened to Rafal, but I'm happy to report that this show is still a piece of excellent storytelling. Oczy and Gras are interesting characters, the former being a bit of a nihilist, while the latter was more of a hopeful man, until he unintentionally discovered the retrograde motion of Mars, which contradicted his thought that planets might move in a circular motion in every cycle. Understandably, that crushed Gras' spirits, until the heretic at the end gave Oczy and Gras something to think about, because even if there's no Heaven, life can still be worth living in the here and now. Can't wait for them to discover what Rafal left behind. |
| They changed the opening and the ending a bit, to fit the new characters! It seems though that Oczy and the others will be in the same timeline, since Oczy and the blonde guy appear together in the opening, and they changed the ending, to make the 3 of them appear. Also, the girl appears to be more and more Nowak's daughter. Talking about Nowak, he made an appearance this episode! It was small, but he was there. I must say I wasn't expecting for Oczy and his partners' setting to be so different from Rafal's, one of them doesn't even look at the sky, and they are both assassins, and thinking that assassins will take an interest in the stars is not something you would think right off the bat. But I must say that the story they built upon Oczy's partner was really interesting, and they really conveyed the feeling of hopeleness with these 2 characters, of wanting something more for earth, than just a sinful place for those that did not obbey God's orders. And hearing the heretic's words at the end was exactly what they wanted, although Oczy seems to be much more resilient to that idea, but it seems he will be the one to make more discoveries. The fact that Oczy has a "great eye" really points out to that. The final scenes, where the heretic was making them think in another way were so well done, the direction for this anime is spotless! I really liked all of the philosophy this episode. Although I really liked the backstory of Oczy's partner, I'm afraid he won't last long, due to the lack of appearances he has on the opening and ending. I also wonder when are the other characters appearing, and why are they joining. To end, it seems like Hubert and Rafal's work hasn't been stagnant these past few years, because people have been picking it up, like this heretic, that even has that orb that Hubert gave Rafal. As Rafal predicted, his sacrifice would be much more fruitful for the research, then him just starting it all over. Although last episode was better, it's only natural because it was the culmination of the build-up from episodes 1 and 2, and I honestly think this 4th episode is the start of a bigger build-up honestly, and I'm sure this anime will still surprise us a lot. Really nice that they changed the opening first scenes to fit the new main character, and also changed the ending a bit. |

| Bro I fanboyed so hard when I saw the changes in the OP. It was relatively minor, but the attention to detail with it really got me excited I love the conversation between the "non believer " and Oczy with his buddy. Just imagine having your one reason to live just be torn to shreds in front of you. Despite being reduced to mere ashes, a phoenix may still rise and shine through the night sky. And that light, in the darkness will inspires others to keep the flame strong. Fucking love this dude. |

| Great episode. I wonder if that noble guy in the tavern who mocked Gras in regards to Mars will actually be a more important character later on. It's weird how someone seemed to be so knowledgable about Mars' movement. |

| It's a bit strange not seeing Rafal from now on, and there was even a small change in the OP. I would’ve liked to continue from Rafal's perspective, but the focus on these assassins also seems intriguing. Plus, Rafal's influence is still present through the heretic they’re escorting, because otherwise, how would they know about the stone box in the mountain? Now I’m curious to see what these assassins will do and how their perspectives will shift as they witness the beauty of their world and the sky. |

| After how strong the previous episode was and knowing that new characters will take helm for this episode, was curious whether the series would retain its good storytelling and characterization or feel like a disappointment. Luckily for now, the story's heading in an interesting direction still, and the overall direction once again was impressive too. The build towards the cliffhanger there in those last few minutes were really intense and so well done. Also like the new touch with the opening showing the new protagonist at the start too with this new phase in the story. |

| Such a pessimistic character, Oczy is. Gras is no different. For Oczy to find out that Gras, who is so optimistic, had once been no different than him, but worse. Gras loved stargazing, he found hope in that, he believed that through the movements of certain stars (aka planets), his family communicate with him, guiding him in life. Out of Curiosity, he began to Observe the Movement of Mars, expecting it to be a Perfect Circle, a day his Bleak fate might take a Turn. But little did he know about the movement of the plants, he found mars' orbiting pattern anomalous, which left him hopeless. As he didn't have a practical approach to his observation, he simply did that for his Beliefs and expectations, out of searching for hope, so when things didn't work out his way, he was Hopeless. Oczy is portrayed as a pessimist. A person who hates his job. He is more worried about his placement in heaven after his death, as he lost all his hope to find beauty on Earth. He had killed a lot of people in the past and keep doing so,the burden of being cursed by the dead worry him even more. It can be assumed that He has a curious mind, as he could quickly think of why Stars aren't falling on earth, if it's the bottom of the universe, pulling everything towards itself. The Pope's explanation of Heaven being the most beautiful place and Earth being no different than Hell, and after experiencing the world's dark side must've left a scar on his imagination. He shut his door of imagination long ago, hopelessly searching for salvation in heaven, refusing to looking for beauty on this earth itself. That Old Men, another Heretic, with a Thought Provoking argument finally left an impression on them. They refuse the fact that somewhat their thoughts align with a sinner. But A Feeling of wanting to know more On the Movement of the Stars, Curious to understand the Beautiful side of Earth, and the Existence of Heaven, they walk on a path they never thought of. Nowak's here. And it seems like he haven't changed in 10 years. Even after Leading Rafal to death, he is still firmly believes in the Curch. He seems like a Very Interesting Character. It would be fascinating to know where the story takes him. It'll be interesting to see, what the story unfolds next. With a new Hope, Oczy and Gras begins to walk in the opposite direction, they know the risk yet they challenge their fate. 10/10 episode again. Oh, and the Opening and Ending song. They has really grown on me. They even changed the visuals and character placements from Opening, according to the Story. I hope they keep doing that. It's really fascinating. I'm loving this Show. |
