Mikhail or whatever his name is has to be the most annoying character in this show, including this episode.

Ayano was much more emotional this episode. Despite all the silly drama between her and Kisara, they actually had a more serious talk this time. It seems the city's outrage problem wasn't entirely dealt with.. Shuu himself also got himself caught into a fight with abnormality. Can't this guy ever catch a break? Lol

Loved this episode. While the fanservice stuff is amazing, it’s nice to get some more grounded and emotional episodes for a change as well. I feel so bad for best girl Ayano. She’s gotta feel so left out and left behind with Shuu. But deep down those feelings he had for her are still there. I hope that they can have a heart to heart at some point and express that.

I hope there would be a one long discussion between Shu and Ayano in order to settle those feelings. Too bad Shu won't remember most of their interactions.

Agreed, Mikhail is annoying af.

We got the episode I wanted: Ayano confronting Shuu about the loss of his memories. Just like I said last week, I really feel so bad for her.

I literally cannot stand Mikhail, so I guess Ryouta is doing his job really well. I almost muted him this episode, ugh. Of course he has an introduction card too, lmao.

I really hope we get more episodes like this in the future! I mean the action sequences are amazing and all, but I'm always looking for more reasons to actually care about the characters. Shuu's running gag of being perpetually broke was hilarious at first, but I really am just sad for him now, knowing what he's giving up just to pursue this revenge. Hopefully we'll get more backstory and moments between him and Ayano next episode even if Shuu probably won't even get to remember them! Tbh, Ayano is the highlight for me so far, and I wasn't expecting that going in.

And wow, Kisara really said "I don't care what happens to Shuu as long as I'm his last girl". Oof.

I'm okay now... At least... I want to be able to say that.

I hope we get more serious, emotional scenes between the main characters. I would also love to see how Shuu was before the contract and the memory loss. Good episode!

There's more Demon Hazards that rakes in money, but then again, not enough to sustain daily necessities for Shuu and Kisara.

And then you have people like Mikhail flaunting his personality and wealth, while Kisara...tries to create controversy with Ayano and her business, which is petty stuff. The same guy that Shu is also trying to track down to give the demon whom murdered his family some due service, it becomes a case overlap for a pyramid scheme involving demons and a murder involving the mafia.

It's keen that Shu and Ayano's relationship is in the rocks of how much he abandoned her in favour of Kisara, whom he lent his powers in exchange for his memories that are all transferred onto her. Shu may be doing a bad thing, but who's to say that Ayano is also at fault as well for being self-centered to not understand Shu at a deeper level.

Shu just can't take a break eliminating the Demonically Possessed, an this mafia business is purely for a personal grudge. Ayano somehow getting involved in this, yelp...

Wasn't expecting Ayano to learn about Shu's condition so early but now she knows. Wonder what she'll try to do. Also that cliffhanger, damn.

Didn't expect Kisara to tell Ayano the truth about taking memories but the girl will probably like the guy just more now so that was kind of a self bamboozle on Kisara's end. lol

Ayano rambles on about Shu leaving her in the dark, then proceeds to learn about how he voluntarily loses his memories and has been doing on so for a while now. Talk about bad timing.

Also, am I the only one who thinks Mikhail is hilarious? I lost it at the card scene.

Great episode! Mikhail is so annoying.
Ayano was pretty sad this episode. I didnt expect her to show her emotions so early in the series.
She also learnt about Shuu's memory loss from Kisara.

Looking forward to the next episode!

So we’ve got a gang war involving a demon broker huh? That blonde guy seems to be linked to the attempted assassination of the mayor too. I’m very curious to know what his agenda is. I wasn’t expecting everything to be the work of Maria. Looks like she’s been possessed and likely done so via the broker. Ayano is in some real trouble…

But man, Shu’s sacrificing too much to Kisara for the sake of his revenge. His relationship with Ayano is just gonna deteriorate further if he keeps this up. It’s kind of messed up that Kisara is ok with Shu just becoming a shell of his former self as long as she gets to be with him. Though perhaps I shouldn’t be too surprised, she IS a demon after all.

This show does ponder an interesting question. How important are past memories in a desrie to seek a new future. And the crux of that argument is memories are what define us, and if they are all taken what is left of us, and could we even be considered human.

All we saw was the memories from Shu last episode which were pretty detailed for someone who apparently didn't even make it home that day, something doesn't seem right. Also Ayano is not his girlfriend anymore so pulling cards randomly like this would make anyone put her in her place, which Kisara does but Ayano didn't even react to him losing his memories. It's also precious how she put so much blame on him and his character and (lack of) motivations and yet she does the exact same thing as he does (minus the demon in the back pocket).

This episode tried to make something with the drama but the characters are so poorly developed it landed short of the mark. It seems they can't really balance out how the action, plot, drama and romance should work together and this episode really made it clear, it felt like I was watching segments of several series on a youtube montage with a 23min run time.

Im not sure I really agree. I feel like the drama landed pretty well, especially since the seeds were planted back in the first episode. I rewatched the first 2 and its intresting how well telegraphed all of this was.

It's honestly getting a little boring with the same set-up over and over. Even though the reveal of him losing his memories every time he uses the Demon powers was interesting, it's not enough to make up for the boring and repeating moments. Well, I'm glad they're adding more depht to the love triangle. She finally knows about the thing so, she might intervene a lot more than usual to help him.

thats Ayano and maybe because its a one sided relationship (Ayano implied too in this episode that Shu does not care about her) and that kind of relationship is toxic

The conversation between Ayano and Kisara was interesting for sure, it’s now confirmed Shu is losing his memories by making contracts with Kisara, and Kisara is actually gaining his memories, that’s messed up lol. Kisara doesn’t seem too bothered by it either, she could be hiding it but she almost seems like a bit of a villain, but who knows lol.

And wow, Ayano was planning to give herself to Shu for his birthday huh? Damn if only he knew that maybe he woulda been home on time lol, she even had the lingerie to boot, Shu definitely missed out. And it looks like the whole mafia situation is being done by Tony’s girlfriend Maria, and it looks like she might be a Bloody Mary reference with the mirrors and such, very cool.

I was under the assumption that Ayano already knew about the contract between Shu and Kisara and that was why they broke up because he doesn't rmember their relationship too well. Riddle me surprised.

I don't really like any of the characters at the moment, but I do hope Ayano is ok.

Poor ayano, have to give it to her mostly staying calm during the memory reveal and not lashing out at kisara, really glad they didn't keep it a secret from her for too long. It makes the dynamic between the girls even more interesting from now, clearly kisara wasn't completely honest with herself while saying that she would be fine with shuu basically becoming an empty shell as long as he becomes hers.

Last episode she already felt sorry for stealing those precious memories and also could be seen not totally being fine what shuu is ready to risk for his goal. Damn shuu is putting both his girls through one hell of a time with his ego trip and I hope they will work together in the future to figure something out how to save shuu. Starting to really warm up with ayano after this ep, she seems to have known all the time that something is up with shuu and started investigating into the demon attack cases on her own. And like I said kisara isn't that selfish like she make it look like on the outside, she cares deeply for him while still having to follow the rules of their contract.

Hyped for how the girls will interact from now and how to proceed their relationship with shuu.

Shu is the one who should take into account, by telling Ayano the truth. Instead he goes into trash mode by apologising with a smile hoping things would cool out. Kisara is a cool girl, I liked how she was able to step up for him and explain the pact to Ayano even though she's her rival. Elite Girlfriend. Shu sucks.

Ah so Ayano finally found the truth about Shuu's memories and at this point I should feel sympathetic to the character but no I'm more like pity him coz his buffoonery is hard for me to like him

And the rest just some action and talking, next will be more intense I guess

Good episode, glad Ayano now knows the price Shuu is paying to get revenge on his family's death. Not sure if Kisara is being fully honest saying that she doesn't care if Shuu loses all his memories as long as he's with her, we've seen Kisara do a lot for Shuu such as cook, lend him $, and save his life at least once against a demon. Hope Ayano is ok based on the cliffhanger ending, guessing Kisara may save her.

Seems like what Ayano and Shuu had was a toxic relationship. I feel bad for Ayano cause people like Shuu who is still very much stuck in the past shouldn't be in a relationship with someone who wants a normal romance. Shuu needed support and understanding which Ayano wasn't willing to give hence the breakup.

And am I the only one who enjoys Mikhail? lol. I wish to find out a more intriguing side of him. Like maybe he has an ulterior motive why he's so interested in Kisara.

Kisara telling Ayano about her contract with Shuu is very considerate of her. She's probably lying about her not caring as long as she's his last.

Ayano now knows Shuu's condition and her talking to Kisara on it doesn't help matters. Also they can't really stop the boy with his revenge plot, so it's up to them to decide.

Anyways, we have a mad woman getting revenge on her fallen love, and with Ayano on the bind, it's really going to be a rough one next episode.

There are many words to describe Mikhail
Unique personality is not one of them
Why is the dead guy's eyes wide open of he was killed while still unconscious?
Wish they'd kept the fact mc is losing his memories from the ex until closer to the end. That kind of stuff is best left a secret until the last second imo
