| I'm by no means a shounen expert but from what I've seen, Naruto had some of the lamest comedy and jujutsu kaisen had the best among them. Haven't watched Gintama yet. I've heard it's pretty funny. I'm not sure if OPM counts as shonen, (I think it's seinen) but it was also really funny Mod Edit: Thread locked for being a random X vs Y thread. | Urusei Yatsura and Gintama are my favorites. From more traditional battle shonen, I find Dragon Ball and Fairy Tail to be very funny. As for the worst, I think Fire Force had some terrible comedic timing, JJK's comedy was very forgettable and the first season of Saiki K just... didn't work for me. |

| All of the big hit shounen usually have good servisable comedy, but for a more specific comedy I would go with Sakigake!! Otokojuku, I love to see those manliest men getting into all types of stupid hilarious situations lol. As for worst comedy nothing comes to my mind at the moment. |
OPM has great humor, except it's actually tagged as seinen. Definitely agree on FMAB, I actually started watching that and couldn't make it through one episode. |

Some People will disagree with that and that's because one must have a vast knowledge of japanese culture, customs, current events during which the episodes were released, history of japanese civil wars, know about J-dramas and celebrities' personal life to fully understand all the gags, puns and jokes.. of course vast knowledge of lots of 80s, 90s anime is essential to fully enjoy the parodies... Worst comedy has to be shaman king... The MC sounds and behaves like he is high af... He is a shaman so might as well be, none of his jokes make any sense and feels like rambling of a stoner... |

| Shounen is a broad category, but just using the shows listed by other people above Best: Saiki Kusuo Worst (tied): One Piece and Gintama. People like to act like Gintama requires knowledge of a bunch of obscure references, but even though it drops a bunch of names for the hipster crowd, it's hardly ever funny even if you understand them. People who like Gintama must really just love all the potty humor, every time a character farts or says shit or pee, or when the dozen or so one-joke wonders do their skit over and over again for 200 episodes. And that's the same problem with One Piece. Usopp and Brook literally have one joke (like how many times can you make a skeleton pun?) and Luffy and Sanji/Zoro/Nami just play the same funny/dumb guy and straight guy manzai duo where Luffy does the same stupid thing, and people yell at him for it. Saiki Kusuo also has a small cast of one-joke wonders, but luckily it knows when to stop recycling jokes. |

| The best ones: Gintama (*_*) , Norgami (because of Yato, I find him hillarious) and Inuyasha (It is just the perfect amount of comedy in the right situations) Worst ones: Demon slayer, Naruto, JJK, and One piece (They try too hard to be funny, it doesn't feel genuine) |

| best comedy: Those who hunt the elves. hilarious and underrated. Also. FMA. Despite focusing mainly on being an epic adventure anime, It has great comedy. Of curse, plebs are not prepared for that. worst: probably Urusei Yatsura. infuriating mess. Fortunatly Rumiko improved it with Ranma 1/2. |
