I worked at a summer camp two years ago and we went actually camping for a trip and I fucking hated it XD. To me camping just feels like being homeless for fun.

I think it'd be fun if I was with the right people. Went camping a few times when I was younger and it wasn't too bad. Might bring some drugs to make it more enjoyable though.

"Being homeless for fun"

sounds about right lmao

If you truly want to enjoy nature you can do so easily at most places since hotels are basically everywhere these days.

Sure if you go to a tropical island from boat not much you can do but camp or out to some very rural mountains or something but in most cases you can still find some sort of accommodation instead of throwing a tent down.

I don't like to be outside so I have a negative opinion.
All weebs creatures of the galaxy, hear this message. Those of you who listen will not be struck by western animation. You will no longer know hunger, nor pain. Your Anime have come to lead you now. Our strength shall serve as a luminous sun toward which all intelligence may blossom. And the impervious shelter beneath which you will prosper. However, for those who refuse our offer and cling to their western animation ways… For you, there will be great wrath.

It's fun to do it with friends because it offers totally different experiences than just cooping up in a room like a NEET weeb

Once camped on the beach during summer, mosquitos at night, extreme humidity, high wind in the morning almost blew the tent away. And I was inexperienced brought almost nothing just prepped food, glow sticks and some sheets, didn't make bonfire too.

All that taught me what I should and shouldn't do next time but not that I'll have another chance to do it anyway.

After going camping 4 times, I can safely say that I despise nature

I'll take my shut-in lifestyle over the great outdoors because there's less insects involved

Only camped for a week with friends during a summer festival, it was fun but that´s the only way I would camp

My parents loved camping, so we'd go at least once a year, but I never liked it. These days I'm starting to see the appeal though.

The last time I went camping was 3 years ago. It was quite fun, actually, since I went there with some friends. I would totally try it again after the weather settles down in the spring.

I did about a nine day hike and camp with some school mates and overall it was surprisingly enjoyable. Walking like 16-28 kilometres a day whilst carrying all your equipment fucking sucked but hanging with classmates in the middle of the bush afterwards was pretty fun. I wouldn’t do it again but I’m glad I did it.

Both are much better with friends and relatives tho

My parents took me camping a few times when I was a kid, always to the same place. It was sort of like a camp/convention for pagans and some people would bring their kids. It was fun, listening to folk music and learning how to shave tree bark and paint glass and shit. I taught myself rock climbing and one year wound up in a field on top of a cliff, surrounded by angry sheep.

Haven't been in years, but it can be a lot of fun, especially with friends.

Just make sure you bring a fucking feast, good music, and more underwear than you need. Seriously. Your life depends on it.

I've never been to camping (as in sleeping in a tent, campfires etc.) but the whole idea sounds not so fun. I'm not really an outside person in general and I'm afraid of bugs.

I do like cabin camping though, because at least there's the basic necessities.

Cabin Camping is what I like to call camping with privilege XD. I have never been cabin camping before but it sounds more bearable than traditional camping.

That's probably the best way to describe cabin camping. I've also thought of it as living like in old times. No electricity, no running water (well, depends, some have electricity and/or water, some not), but still a roof over your head. I've been cabin camping maybe 3 times, every time for about a week and it's really nice way to stay away from everything but at the same time not feel like homeless.

I used to enjoy camping when I was a kid . My mom and aunt would take me and my sister camping by the lake. It was fun, we stayed in a tent, ate hotdogs, hamburgers, had smores and went fishing. In my early twenties I joined the military and did lots and lots of camping outside and ate MREs and field chow, Korean ramen and Yaki mandu when I was in Korea. So that kind of burnt me out on camping.

I’d gone camping annually since I was 6 or so with family and friends. We used to bring tents with us. I think we used airbnb for our last trip. God it was awful, the place had bugs everywhere. I don’t think I’ve gone camping for two years.

I only went camping when I went to a music festival: There was music all day long and at night, and I didn't bring enough clothes so I was pretty cold. Also, since I coloured my hair, washing it with water bottles was amusing but I was so so happy coming back home and get a shower (I remember washing my hair 5 times at that moment)

Taking into consideration the reality of it; vegetation, bugs, weather, and everything just makes it better

I've never done outdoor camping. From elementary school up into middle school I attended an indoor summer camp. During the day, we would alternate between going outside and playing indoors. Outdoor activities were things like baseball, kickball, or playing at a local park. Indoors we would do basketball, dodgeball, and other things. They sometimes held special activites and on Fridays we would go on trips.

I love it so much, I've gone camping multiple times a year for the last 15 years and I will go from a weekend up to 2 solid weeks of camping at a time. I make sure to do facilities with showers, working toilets, and electricity though, I don't go unless that's the bulk of where we'll be staying.
