| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Seems there's still plenty of problems for the Kansai region even with their peace. This episode feels like it's setting up for the season finale. We also got the Ordinary people with a feeling of uncertainity about their future, not to mention that cliffhanger. Next episode should be interesting. |

| I knew Kanto wouldn't be some super perfect place. I guess you could call it a tsukuyomi type world... well, RIP Hacker. he was probably the most useful of the Akudama. They probably didn't die in the explosiong at the end there... One more episode left. |

| Kanto's secret revealed. It's both predictable and unpredictable for me. I've wondered what is waiting for Swindler at the location that Hacker told her. Can't wait for the final episode. |

| At first glance, I'd thought that I'm watching the wrong episode (with Swindler's long hair), but it seems that the sequence of events have been shuffled somewhat. Of course, the Kansai riot in which everyone was considered an Akudama and executed on the spot, this is not faring well, and with the Executioners side closing in towards their objective. Getting back into the meat with Ordinary Citizen and Courier's "Dream Butterfly" of illusions back and forth (along with the Bunny and Shark brainwashing TV programs), this brings about an abberation...and that can only mean one thing: HACKER'S BACK! With his return, the world of Kanto isn't what it seems, and people's memories taken and converted into data...what a twist for Black Cat (now Brother and Sister) to be used as a vessel for eternity. Despite both Swindler and Courier's efforts, the fact that Hacker is the sole purpose in saving both Brother and Sister in this crucial moment of time, he's one BIG massive help to crack the system from the inside. Game set for the both of them, while it's game over for a good, purposeful sacrifice of Hacker. Brother and Sister finally reunited together in body, and Swindler and Courier seemingly connected throughout with the 500-yen coin, sticking through to the end. THERE'S ONLY ONE PROBLEM LEFT: facing the Executioners on the Shinkansen ride back towards Kansai. What a thrill ride of an episode though, really wondering what the season finale has in store. |

| This anime should be 26-episode. Damn. Is that silhouette Brawler? I like Swindler's dedication. I hoped for more time for Hacker. He is gone. This anime is so shinkansen. It never stops. |
| That's a twist I should have seen coming. It's been in the name all this time! "Drive" is a reference to a data storage device - like, hard drive. *Akudama Drive* is, in other words, a data storage device pertaining to Akudama. The question is, why is it the Akudama Drive when the hard drive we saw in this episode - a.k.a. Kanto - contained only the data of regular civilians (with the exception of Hacker)? Knowing Kodaka, I'm fully expecting Ep. 12 to contain a colossal twist which changes EVERYTHING but will also make the title of the anime make much more sense than it currently does. |
| So I was kind of right to think that Kanto was some kind of VR. So they copied their minds and were living inside a VR untill Swindler and Hacker came and destroyed it. Swindler was kinda cool there when she was saving the siblings. I wonder what's in the coordinate hacker send to Swindler and lol they definitely didn't die in the train crash. They proly weren't even in the train. |

| Hacker deserves to be praised for everything he has done. He saved the Swindler and the Courier. Revealed the truth about Kanto and saved the siblings. Hacker, you won't be forgetten. I was confused at the start of this episode, then I got even more confused when the Rabbit and Shark started talking about "Butterfly Dream". |

| Whoa! That ain't an utopia! I guess no one on their right mind would want to remain as data forever. Kanto is a mess. Kanto is a dystopia. And they're deceiving people from Kansai. And these authorities from Kansai are just the same, they're making the life of people a living hell. Instead of dreaming to go to a supposed to be perfect place, why not just make Kansai a better place?! Those Executioners are the real Akudama, fascists!! Good to see Hacker again tho, such a kind soul who just wants excitement in life. Hacker saves the day. I hope he's not yet dead, but he's now a data so I guess he's physically dead. Salute Hacker! They're back to Kansai but they're being chased by the Executioners. I wonder what will happen next episode, the finale. What's in the coordinates Hacker gave? Is it the real utopia?  |
| Who would have thought that we would have two quantum computer plot twists in the season. How interesting. I really liked the visuals in this episode. Hacker's hacking segment reminded me of Dive Drive from Danganronpa 2. You can really feel Kodaka's involvement. Kinda hoped Hacker would end up as a mastermind or something so this felt a bit bland to me. Seems like a waste of a really cool character. Even though he did do something remarkable the general feeling of "Well, we knew they will save them anyway" makes the "how" part of the story not so mesmerizing. All in all, I'm interested in how all this is going to end. Will Kodaka strike us with a happy ending? |

| My boy 😭😭 You are without a doubt the best character in the show for me. What a guy. And he went out like a boss. Though I suspect that he's not quite dead yet and probably transferred his conscience to that thing Swindler was holding. And based on the preview.... is the Executioner Pupil really is just going to be a dog?? 😒 I have little interest in people who chose to be dogs. I hope there's more to it than blind following. Here's wondering if anyone recognize who that voice was at the end of the PV there.... |

| I thought the anime was evolving into something special from the first 5 minutes but ofc I was wrong. I felt disappointed by the second half of the episode, shit was mad cringe (although Hacker positively surprised me with his selflessness). Although, fuck me for watching the next ep's pv, that shit looked sick as fuck this anime probably gonna end on its highest note |

| Damn, another quantum supercomputer bullshit. It's getting popular recently, isn't it? I think this anime have a lot of potential but 12 episode is just not enough to tell all the story, so as a result this anime have many plot holes. |

I really hope at the end of the show there's a plot twist that everyone is bring back to life.. and then season 2 maybe? Please they should explain everyone's backstory its too mysterious that it need sequel. I just can hope that they can time travel to past so we get to know everyone's past. Seems like the only one that can do that is swindler since courier is gonna be dead(?) too. Just what i hope. Btw seems like swindler is gonna be considered as the most greatest akudama by the executioner from now on? She is the last one to survive.. But in the op she see the cross first before courier smoking under the tree? Whats happening? I hope the last ep will be good or it will ruin this show, for me. |

| a little i expected this idea of Hacker "becoming part of the network" due one of the opening scenes (those that seems to show the end of each akudama) and when he disappeared it wasnt yet known what happened in the quarantine, that he returned to showing up once more was a possibility. and was totally worth it! but wasn't expecting such a plot twist for the current Kanto and that they'd try to load all their data into Aniki and Imoto and as always usagi-chan and same-kun with their creepy vibe released clarifying info lol. just one episode left! |

| I thought Kanto would be some kind of overly futuristic place, in some ways I wasn't mistaken I suppose. xD Hacker, the true badass. Shows up to help save the day and is gone just as fast as he showed up. :( |

| Hacker...what a guy. He fought for his life to overcome the impossible challenge. He was able to free the siblings at the cost of his life. Visuals were...interesting...very interesting. Thinking about it now some of the S rank Akudama are not that bad people. The preview for the final episode gave me shivers!! Very excited for the final episode!! Good episode :) |

| RIP Hacker. Now only Swindler and Courier are left and I’m almost sure that at least one of them will be dead by the finale, most probably Courier. This episode was very tiring for my eyes. I don’t even wanna talk about the end. Since we have one episode left, I think they managed to escape the Shinkansen in time. |

| So Hacker didn't find the utopia he was hoping to find. Instead he found himself become data for Kanto, but he was careful and managed to be one step ahead than Kanto. The start of the episode made me feel I started up Ep. 1 again. Way to confuse me XD Swindler manage to secure the twins after hacker managed to free them from Kanto, He went out a hero, but I believe he will still be around in the phone of Swindler. That end though, they just executed a full assault on that Shinkansen. I am sure they managed to escape the train before impact, but damn I can't wait for the finale! |

| Well I kinda thought we'd never see Hacker again, so it was nice to encounter him again (for his last moments !) Honestly I truly believe Kanto was a sort of paradisiac or perfect place : well it appeared to be very different... Though about this whole story uh, who's gonna die next ? I had some serious death flags raised over Courier's head last time, but could they kill Swindler for another unexpected moment ? |

| Thank you shitty utopia for giving me long hair Swindler again, even if it was only for a short time :) Compared to the other show this season, the hacking scene this time gave me chills, it was pretty cool. What a way to come back, and what a way to go, Hacker! Imouto swearing in the background killed me lmao. One episode left. I'm not ready, it doesn't look good for them. |
