Personally I'm scared of cats and I don't even know why.

I don't mind them unless they start following me on the streets coz then I'm running that's for sure.

I'm interested to see as to what animal y'all are scared of, if there are any that is.

Black widows. It's always frightening when you stumble upon one when you're doing chores or yard work. If there was any animal that I wish would go extinct, it would be them.

I'm creeped out by spiders but can't really say I'm scared of them. It's just when you see one and it notices you - you both start to freak out and because the spider is so fast and small, it seems like it's all over the place and ready to attack you.
I also get a very weird feeling when I look into spider's eyes - they are like a void.

I'm really scared of centipedes - I saw a video on YT of a centipede eating a mouse and now I'm terrified. These creatures are nasty af. And I think they are vicious by nature - meaning they'd attack you just to fuck you up. That's the impression I have of them.
I'm also afraid of animals that would eat you alive - tigers, polar bears, piranhas. Nasty fuckers.
And of course I'm afraid of any living creature that lives in the water (mammals are fine, although I'd rather not be around dolphins). Horsehair worms are straight from my nightmares, I was so afraid they'd enter my body when I was a kid.

Animals that are basically parasites or infestations. Mainly because they can crawl on my skin and do something unknown while I cannot notice them. Parasites are just nasty to look at, and I don't want to go anywhere near a group of woodlice in my entire life ever again.

I have an irrational fear of cockroach. I can't concentrate if there is one in the area where I'm at. Some are scared of it only if it flies, but for me even if it's just minding its own business I still freak out. One time I woke up the neighbors because I screamed so loud due to a roach who suddenly crawled on my feet.

I'm scared of a lot of animals. A few of them are wolves, bears, tigers, lions, rhinos, venomous spiders and snakes, crocodiles, hippos, hyenas...

Of course any wild animal, but if your talking domestic, probably dogs. It's not that they're scary, it's just I suffered a traumatic experience with a dog back in my early childhood.

I'm afraid-- No, in fact, frogs scare me shitless.

I have reason - and proof - to believe they're planning a coup on humanity for throwing all kinds of chemicals in bodies of water for too long.

I used to have this irrational fear of spiders in the past. Today I make great use out of them instead. Their webs are left alone so that they dine and with it spare me from the nonsensical flying gremlins.

Probably any animal that’s not a friendly cat or dog I’m probably at least somewhat afraid of if they go near me, but if I had to choose it would probably be bears. They’re huge, intimidating, huge, and deadly.

Millipedes freak me the fuck out. They are just long and crunchy, ew. Also like a few people here I hate centipedes. I don't mind spiders, mainly because I am surrounded by them constantly since I live in the woods.

Anything that can eat me can go fuck right off though.

I'm terrified of whales. They're massive, and they often have barnacles all over them. Disgusting. This applies to a lot of sea creatures, some wack animals live in water. My fear of the ocean does not help either...

Edit: Actually, barnacles are the worst for me. I can't even look at them without getting the chills.

Possums, New York rats, goose, ants. Most wild animals won't hurt unless provoked, but these fuckers have evolved with humans and don't give a fuck.

Ant's is a pretty weird one, but the sheer numbers scare me. There's about 1,000,000,000,000,000 of these dudes. One of these days they'll assemble an ant voltron thing and devour everything in its path.

Anything I can't beat in a fight or outrun, especially if could suddenly come out nowhere and kill me. But I'm never anywhere near any animals like that other than bears when I go skiing (which I did see pretty up close once, scared the shit out of me lol but I was on skiis so I was able to rocket downhill with it having no chance of catching up).

I'm honestly not scared of any animal.

I one time walked towards a black bear. To be fair, black bears are basically really large dogs in a lot of ways. But it freaked my friends out how I saw it and almost instinctively approached it.

Birds, especially seagulls.
When I was little, I came very close to a nest of a seagull and the mother attacked me, pecking my skull as I ran away.

Orcas. Those things think, mimic human/animal sounds, is an Apex predator in its environment, have language (not sure if equivalent to human language but close) and likely can reason.

Not fucking with it in sea or in cage.

Probably cats since they are known to spread toxoplasmosis. I believe that might be the reason why all the cat fanatics love those miscreations so much. The parasites are controlling their brains. On second thought, it's hard to say which of the three is the scariest. The cat, the cat lover, or the parasite?

Technically the toxoplasmosis is usually found in cat's litters not ON cats.

Technically the toxoplasmosis is usually found in cat's litters not ON cats.

That's correct but also dishonest. Cats touch their litters with their feet (paws whatever) and then walk on the floor, on the table, on the bed... you get the idea, and those parasites can survive for months, years, perhaps. If you have a cat that is infected, most likely your entire house is full of them.

I guess it's a lie meant to convince people that having a cat doesn't increase the chances of getting toxoplasmosis unless you are eating its feces or something but technically speaking, a tiny amount of cat feces will most likely end up in your mouth at some point.

None in the sense that I don't feel fear just thinking about an animal except perhaps certain diseases caused by living organisms which isn't usually what people think of when they say animal. Animals that I react to usually are just insects or small amphibians running or jumping on me because they feel weird and can quickly crawl places id rather they didnt but I dont think that has anything to do with fear.
