Lol, Kotoko and her little freakouts. Priceless.

About time they decided to focus more on Rikka, Kuro's cousin in this show. She's one of the more serious characters and has an important connection to the supernatural events, such as the Ghost Nanase. Felt like a buildup episode but pacing should pick up more.

So, for Kuro to not believe that Rikka is dead, meant that Rikka is also like Kuro, one of the very lucky ones to survived the experiment. So , Saki was a bit older than Kuro, I wonder how many years were their age differences?

Well, It was Rikka all along who created that Steel lady whoever she is....

Is it not up on CR for anyone else? Says updated 27 mins ago but it's the Dub not sub
Ok, it's on VRV app, but CR app is acting fucky as always.

"Saki San, Rikka San's my cousin" Roll Tide! Even in Kyokou Suiri the tide's rolling. Lowkey, Rikka is sexy as hell. Every woman in this series is insanely attractive for some reason. Saki-san's still best girl, though.

Episode was genuinely hilarious "I'm your common law wife now" "Yeah..... no" "As if he was letting out all of his frustration, he pinned me down and.." "Answer me seriously now" lmao. Looks like the final battle will start next week and man I can't wait to see how it turns out. This series has been a refreshing blast to watch over the past two months.

The concept of anime existing to promote the source material definitely worked on me, went out and got the Novel and manga last week.

We finally learned more about Kuro's cousin, Rikka. She has the same abilities as Kuro but from this episode, it appears that her abilities are slower and probably inferior to Kuro's.

This episode had few moments especially with Kotoko freaking and not knowing what happened between Kuro and Saki while she was asleep.

Hmm yes I agree but time exists, everyone is tempted to say that they experience it as ordinary. Yet as soon as it is a question of defining it, time seems to escape us irreparably. Perhaps it is in its very nature to escape us.

There are indeed these notions of past, present and future; there is also the mechanical order of the clock, the chronological time of science, a sort of subdivision of time, but does this really correspond to the experience that we have of it?

Conversely, this feeling of time that we have, that our consciousness experiences, that our memory instructs, that our body undergoes, could this sensation really claim to circumscribe time itself?

To answer the first question, it will be interesting to update the philosophical investigation which founds the scientific representation of time, this representation which governs our daily life, our movements and our acts, gridded by schedules and appointments to be respected.

To answer the second question, we will have to try to stay as close as possible to the aforementioned sensations, take the measure of them and make some hypotheses as to their limits and their possible pitfalls.

Perhaps then a singular definition of time will find emerge in the in-between of the first assertions made. It will then be a question of considering the way in which these two a priori antagonistic meanings find an articulation and consider their paradoxical consubstantiality.

Whether we are aware of it or not, and even whether we live it or not, time seems to have a concrete existence. Testimonies of past generations, archaeological remains, astrological cycles, geological strata reflect the continuity of time, a time which goes beyond the simple framework of the experience made by the individual.

From these different traces of time an autonomous conceptualization of time was formed. Time is then thought through various measures which go, to put it briefly, from the clock face to the chronological friezes of history.

Imagination housewife battle, Rikka vs Kotoko. Tough choice ngl.

Very intriguing episode again, end gave off Re:Creator vibes. Also if they basically can "turn fiction into fact" then wouldn't it be possible to bring Karin back? Granted, just in case she actually died. Surely there will be more twists, but imo this episode strongly suggested the possibility.

Looks like we're heading into the final push against Steel Lady Nanase. It should be interesting to see what Iwanaga has planned in order to defeat her.

I still laugh every time Saki gets frightend by an appearing Youkai XD

Kuro's cousin, Rikka is behind the creation of Steel Lady Nanase, that's quite interesting! The painting was a nice clue, sadly I didn't catch onto it until they explained it.

That cliffhanger though, I wanted the battle to happen already!

Ngl Rikka san is really beautiful even with her fragile body but she gives a really scary vibe. Kurou's imagination of housewife Rikka and Kotoko were spot on imo.

Rikka has made things a lot more interesting.

Are we ever gonna see why Kurou is agreeing to be Iwanaga's boyfriend now? Been bugging me that it went from the early episodes he was denying it to now where he isn't anymore but is still unhappy about it. Feels like I missed an offscreen agreement between the two of them.

It's hilarious how Kuro was imagine Rikka and Kotoko as housewives. In most series it would be reverse or Rikka would not look so anorexic. xD

but still Kuro imagined Kotoko in more scanty clothes.... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Damn, what a great episode. I don’t think they left out any important information which is good. Well now that Rikka has been introduced, we will now get on with the 4 solutions. Be prepared for a lot of talking because based off of reading the manga, each episode will explain only 1 solution, it’s that long.

I doubt Kotoko would be that bad, Kuro. Man, get good taste over a skeleton. Might as well have an Ainz bodypillow if you wanna go that route. Just don't get turned on by a t-bone steak or anything... that'd be bad, or should I say, he'd be b o n e d?

I mean, Kotoko just has the BEST faces. How could you not want to see more? (Certainly in that sense) Also, great, yeah, be attracted to basically a damn murderer.

That whole villain creation method really reminds me of Re:Creators.
"You know you've reached peak quality when a doujin is better than the actual source series." (Eg. To LOVE-Ru)

Just to list a couple of biases.
Likes: A good story, characters, writing, romance, a good plot twist or something that breaks expectations (In a good way), 'backstory' and justice.
Dislikes: Bad romance, too much fanservice, the harem genre, yuri, yaoi, and bad writing.

Will we have four different (possible) endings to the storyarc, or are they trying solution #1 first, it fails, then #2 and so on...?

Meeting Kuro's cousin for the first time, Saki seems contemplated. More than being Kuro's first love, "she who spins fiction" has already spun the wheel for Kuro's destiny. Now Kuro doesn't just have Saki and Kotoko, but also Rikka as well...what a love quadrant. And of course, not forgetting Kotoko's sweet, sweet reaction faces.

The housewife imaginations of Kuro...damn it's hard to choose a best girl for that! Either get boned or lolied hard man! Not to mention the wonky relationship between Kotoko and Rikka that spun before all of this happened.

As the woman who has turned the tides of fiction, for Kuro and Kotoko, they'd realized that Rikka behind this will not stop her enough, and without lack of evidence they can't do anything in regards to Rikka's ability to "return by death" (same as Kuro) and predictions of the future of a 1-in-infinity chance.

The crux of the matter can be attributed to "fake news" in fictional sense, but all it matters is the people in cahoots to choose their own justice and fiction to believe in, being the "black and white" to turn fiction to fact.

Now it gets interesting. 4 solutions of various outcomes, what does each of them entail and what does it develop for people of outside knowledge?

2/3 of the way, and this cour will seemingly only have the Steel Lady Nanase arc, but it's more than enough to continue my interest in the series.

kuro x kotoko is like forbidden shipping or comedy shipping cuz the difference between these two huge and kuro is too much for kotoko to handle

I feel like the explanation of WHY Rikka would want to do any of this is far more important than anything else this episode gave us, yet it's the main thing being glossed over. As it is, it just seems like she's doing it for the sheer sake of it, which isn't great writing if true.

I’ll try to keep this as much spoiler free as possible.
We won’t get 4 different ending? Kotoko came up with 4 solutions in case the previous solution fails so she can have a backup solution to convince the people.

Kuro had one hell of a conflict in his imagination of what he fought of both Rikka and Kotoko as housewives. His version of Rikka was, despite her skinny body, very welcoming, whereas his version of Kotoko being a housewive was more like a drill sergeant at an army camp.

If I was in Kuro's shoes, I would choose Kotoko. Heck, even in his panicked state, he STILL imagined Kotoko going for the tempting nude apron outfit to greet him. How can you say no to that? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Aside from Kuro's funny imagination and Kotoko's great selection of facial expressions, the episode gave us a lot more info of what Rikka has been up to, from being discharged from the hospital, then staying with Kotoko's family and finally making a disappearing act while being the one behind the whole Steel Lady Nanase website.

Now we have two battles set up for the next episode. Kuro takes on Nanase himself while Kotoko takes to the internet to win over all the Anons using the Nanase wiki page. This'll be an interesting battle, that's for sure. =)

I will say I liked how the we now kind of have an explaination on how Rikka did what she did and why she was in the hospital, and the suicide attempts. Also have to love that she took so much pity on Iwagana that they became friends. Not a fan of the cousin shipping (and the show doesn't even point out that it's strange). It's also confusing how Saki just instinctively knew Rikka was evil.

Also yeah more commentary about our digital age and urban myths. At least it's presented in an interesting context.

BUT SHES YOUR COUSIN Bruh!?

decent episode still not the biggest fan of Rikka being the creator and our girl that likes to explain everything withheld such a important factor and we still don't know why shes doing it, because i doubt she was trying to do some big brain challenge towards kotoko despite agreeing to live with her

but i dunno she has only been around for one episode hard to think of a motive for any of this

Well, guess Kurou isn't really that cold in terms of emotions after all. He just happens to have quite the cousin complex.

Another quite good episode. The housewives comparison was hilarious and if it weren't for the comments here, I would have never noticed that Kurou actually imagined Kotoko welcoming him with only an apron on xD
And well... I'm more of a Saki-kind of guy but being honest, Kotoko herself has a certain special charm as well. Yeah... with the whole fake leg and eye feature included.

Back on topic, the info we got about Rikka's life while she was at the hospital and after she left it, plus her interest in using the Kudan's power was quite interesting to know and though the reason of why she created Nanase's monster is unclear, I still look forward to it having a satisfactory explanation in the upcoming episodes.

That said, next episode seems promising but being honest, I'm not really interested in the Kurou/Nanase fight. Instead, I'm way more interested in seeing Kotoko trying to counter Rikka's already powerful creation.

Not a fan on how things happened, I was expecting to figure out who started all this and why, they introduce the character that does it and we slowly figure out who it is among the ones introduced kinda like the normal mystery types where we the ones watching figure out who it is among them. But instead we got an ep for a new character and boom she does it and the explanation to why she does it gets revealed in a flash. I still have my doubts on what loli girl said about Rikka's reasoning on why she started the whole Nanase thing, maybe it has something to do with the "JOB" she mentioned? I mean from the looks of it she was living in a mansion, what kinda job lands you a place like that for just a month?

It made me laugh so much when Kuro had such different fantasies about Kotoko and Rikka having access to his house haha Poor Kotoko... but he's not wrong is he?

I wonder why Rikka looks so sickly when Kuro looks so healthy, yet they have the same abilities?
Even though Kotoko said she got along well with Rikka, I find something really disturbing about but I can't put my finger on it.

Episode spent most of the time with just Kotoko and Saki in the car talking about Rikka but it was really good. The beginning with all their relations to Rikka being discussed made me laugh. Kuro having visions of two very different housewives. Ahh what a life it could be. Kotoko messing with Kuro about getting an apartment key, had to give in so Rikka wouldn't stay with him. Rikka coming to stay at Kotoko mansion.

Hilarious how Saki immediately assumed Rikka hates Kotoko when they actually get along pretty well. Kotoko going in with the perfect plan to get Rikka to like her right away, guilt trip her. Perfect plan works almost every time. Pretty messed up how Rikka is using Steel Lady Nanase to see how far her powers can go. Since just like Kotoko said about Kuro, their kudan abilities aren't too different from a normal person, at least on the surface. If you keep going down the rabbit hole of possibilities like Rikka did then you'll get the exact future you want. Now it's time to form the committee to take down the Steel Lady, changing hearts and minds to fight a ghost.
