Damn they really went for a big climatic finish with Koharu and Kakeru...
That confession though.

A rather predictable ending though. I liked the music and all for the episode but it seems like the story was pretty evident about the direction it was heading with. Yeah, the reunion was inevitable and I wasn't too surprised by it.

Reset not begun yet? KajiKaji's character has to save her. The reset that they create, not created by themselves. Her berserk stopped, but Sphere destroyed, and when trying to escape, KajiKaji's character getting involved by the explosion to save the girl. Sparkling girl, while singing, led the boy go, by not letting him involved.

One year later, back to normal life except the girl waits for KajiKaji's character. Changing the world by not "resetting". Kekkai girl practice driving (or piloting?) the plane and with OnoD's character. So the kuudere girl really didn't erase his memory. Shimono-san's character's letter led the main girl to go to the ruined sphere to see the plants are protected by KajiKaji's character's power. Then later he arrived, explaining he was saved by another group, being unconscious for a while and felt the same feeling of wanting to see someone precious again, like his father. "Receiving his family name"? That's a marriage proposal, right?

Aww, so she can sing AND she really did. Really sing by using some words rather than just "La-la-la"-ing around
So I guess this is just the "fallen" of Norn? And some of the "pair" successfully end up together.
Mikoto become freely express herself by becoming a bad-ass pilot. And congratulations Koharu, your seemingly long time effort of waiting for your long awaited person finally paid off.

Decent adaption, for once there are actually couples akito/nanami, koharu/kakeru and mikoto/natsuhiko though that last one is kind of not well explained.
Many otome/galge adaption most of the time have vague ending which I don't like, glad we have some conclusion here.

When they announced the anime my sole expectation was to get good new music tracks (Admittedly, it turned out to be the biggest achievement of the anime for me in the end xD).

But they did a decent adaption. The romance was not told well but the main plot was and I think that was more important for Norn.
They blended the original game routes and bits of the sequel in an interesting way, even if some episodes felt weird/unnecessary to me (I didn't like 11 for instance).

7/10 for me too.
Wish I could have given 8 even, but because of the flaws in storytelling and visuals I just can't.

The only pairing that got proper development was Koharu and Kakeru. Mikoto and Natsuhiko only got one scene. Such a disappointment.

Sad to see that Natsuhiko and Mikoto romantic development being butchered. Natsuhiko's route was the best one and actually made my reading of Norn9 worth it. They cut out every bit of their romantic interactions yet somehow they still ended up together. This is why you don't do half of Sakuya's route and then cut him off later on just to do Natsuhiko's route. I've never liked Sakuya but I feel bad for the anime onlys who liked Sakuya.

Disappointing episode. But a good way to end the show. It was a decent adaptation when it came to the plot of the story but Kakeru and Koharu had too much screentime in this anime. It could have been used for the other characters.

Alright ending; Nanami and Akito end up together and so do Mikoto and Natsuhiko (what a way to push Sakuya aside). Poor Koharu; she really must have waited a long time. This show was a bit better than I expected; I would have preferred it focusing more on the other two pairs rather than the main one, though. Music was nice and (at least some) of the main points were covered. 6/10

AL R I GHT...!
Time to binge watch the last three episodes~
[now I can continue to play the game and not feel quite so cheated by this. mwahahaha.]

And yes, I haven't seen the last few episodes yet, but isn't Sakuya an uber creepy stalker in this adaptation? I believe he is, the parts of his arc they've included make him seem like it. So, I don't feel sorry for the dude, expect for the fact that the anime people bungled his character pretty badly.

The OSTs, insert songs, OP, ED and visuals were fantastic.

But that's about it.

I like the idea of having to reset the world due to all the crap it contains, as well as all the connotations it[the idea] comes with, but I feel like this could've been handled much better.

From all of the users I agree with you the most. As a person who has not played the game and doesn't have the slightest idea what the anime is trying to accomplish.

It's so poorly written. They had no idea whether they wanted to just make an otome anime or actually develop the Aion universe so they tried both and it came out as a defect.

I have no idea what half the characters wanted to do and where they came from? Why are they selected? Everything is a mess.

On a side note (as I have not really paid much attention to the anime after a while), What happened to all the nuclear warheads? Were they dismantled?
I don't know why people write that they are approachable persons,
if you were you wouldn't be on MAL.

Now I liked this episode because it was visually appealing: reminded me of the first few which I liked. Too much focus on Kakeru x Koharu, such a cheesy pairing with too many scenes bleh. I don't like Sakuya so I'm glad Mikoto ended up with Natsuhiko, though the other guy in her harem wasn't bad either (Itsuki I think) I'm happy for Akito x Nanami, too.

What can I say.. It was so story-centric that I just have to judge it in that regard. Story execution was okay but the plot made little sense to me. Seemed like they had a good idea but butchered it up it the progress. Meh, its sad 'cause I liked the whole norn thing. Wish it was a sol, would give it a high rating that way. This is a 6.44 for me, the soundtrack and visuals pleased me quite a bit.

The plot wasn't explained early on enough, and those first few episodes squandered air time to show us gardening... (they could have easily shown relationship development and still fed us actual plot threads vs gardening with kakeru.)

They also probably should have introduced the 'Natsuhiko saves Mikoto and reveals the true nature of the reset' thing like an episode or two earlier... The pacing is the biggest issue I have with this series. (I legit cringed a lot during episode 10 because of how crammed it was.)

At least they developed Akito and Natsume pretty nicely... and with what little they got, Natsuhiko and Mikoto are still the best couple, glad they didn't force a Sakuya ending on us (especially after how horrific his characterization is in the adaptation.)

Focusing on Kakeru and Koharu as the main romance was also a mistake (imo), they aren't very compelling together and she's just plain white bread obnoxious.
Kind of wish they would have made Mikoto the main, especially since they did that whole 'love triangle' thing with her, Natsuhiko and Sakuya. (She never showed any romantic interest in Sakuya though, aside from the dream episode.) PLUS Natsuhiko (in the game more so), is a major player in the main plot and is all around kickass awesome-sauce, way more appealing as the male lead.

Great OST, great character design, such potential for two of the three romances (sorry K x K but ur seriously annoying.), it's a shame they wasted some episodes on fluff that went nowhere and it's a shame the plot got lost in the process until the last few episodes.

6/10
Liked it, but would only watch parts again after playing the game. (For shipping kicks and to hear my favorites speak.)

jk of course but im far more interesting in the history and world building for this otome/anime which is surprising. I think I'll pick up the vn if it goes on sale for cheaper. I'm pretty sure the other protagonists are better than koharu, tho only koharu can go with masamune :'(

I definitely agree that the plot was not really done well. It wasn't terrible as in I had no clue what was happening, but it just didn't come together as well as it could've...especially the way they ended up avoiding the war after all this Reset business. But obvious is obvious, happens with almost every VN/game/manga/LN adaptation; they simply don't have enough time to go into everything. Well it might've been the game's fault too, I haven't played so I wouldn't know.

I don't expect character development with such a huge cast, even with the two main couple. Most of the characters seemed interesting, but of course they weren't fleshed out so I couldn't get attached to anyone. Actually, I did ship Syukuri and Nanami though :D They were cute.

Despite all this, I really enjoyed the anime overall. There's just something about it that made it a nice watch. The visuals were really pretty, and I loved the scenery on Norn. The world felt really magical, yet in a sort of realistic way since it felt sci-fi-sh. Still can't forget the "Reset" from last episode, and the lovely scene near the end with the dandelions. I think I've found the word, it was a mellow, feel-good anime. Yanagi Nagi's insert song was calming and it was nice seeing everyone and what they were doing.

Loved the music as well. I had the game's OST so was looking forward to the anime's, it did not disappoint. Really want to get the game now.

& Thus the best anime of the season is over ~cries~ my Thursdays nights will never be the same. On more serious note this episodes definitely made me cry a lot especially when Kakeru preferred saving Koharu's life instead of his life that's true love right there. There relationship has always been something strong in the anime and proof that any miracles can happen so I'm glad there together and everyone else ended up with the right person .

Oh I can't forget to mention the marriage proposal. Ms Koharu Yuiga sounds perfect <3333 So my final thought is I don't have one single complain Beautiful Bishounen, animation and music were outstanding so obviously my score is a 10 no matter how much hate this series gets it's still a masterpiece and beats any generic magical harem anime.

I will start with some awards:

Best Couple: Syukuri and Nanami.
Best Girl: Nanami.
Best Guy: Two actually. Natsuhiko and Ron.
Cutest Girl: Nanami (Makes me want to hug her every time she talks <3).
Hottest Girl: Mikoto (I have long hair fetish, tsun tsun is a plus).
Worst Guy: Kagami.
Worst Character Design: Again Kagami.
Most Useless Character: Otomaru.

Didn't care about Kakeru and Koharu's relationship at all until the final episode so I am gonna say that I am content with what I have seen. It's been a while since I enjoyed a bishounen anime.

All my ships sailed. I am extra happy because Mikoto is shown with Natsuhiko. I wish they showed they have developed feelings for each other but I will just stop here and make do with my fantasies. :P

The anime was better than expected! I still liked the fact that they "worked out" multiple characters. However it did hurt when Kakeru returned só late. I guess he was in a coma and all... but why the hell did they not tell her? She kept on mourning and waiting even though they could've just flight over and tell her that he's in a coma. Some explanation about the story I didn't really get, but it still felt quite reasonable and in the end they showed an actual "ending".

The first episodes were promising and had a mysterious beauty to them... then it went downhill from there. The best episode was the (filler) dream episode. What a disappointment this anime turned out to be.

Horrendous pacing and poor structure of the entire story was the death of this show. First 7-8 episodes was a lot of regular SoL stuff with little to no substance to the overall plot, and a lot of the relationships weren't developed properly. If it weren't for the ridiculous dream sequence episode, this show would have ended with people thinking that the team just all parted ways in random pairings. As a non-game player, apart from Kakeru and Koharu, there really was zero substance for romantic pairings for any of the other characters (you can attempt to pair them all you want, but you can't deny there was no romantic development in this anime for ANY of those characters apart from the main pairing). Also as mentioned in the last two or three episodes, all those "plot developments" from the android dad to the psudo war and the abduction of Koharu was too contrived to even consider as logical. Animation was early 2000 style with a bit of CG here and there, but overall nothing special.

Essentially this was purely made for fans of the game. I wouldn't suggest any non-game players to watch this.

4/10. The poor plot development and pacing really broke the deal for me.

To tell you the truth, I always interest in Norn9 because it has 3 girls, 9 guys, a robot who wants to see his lover again, a goddess who wants to give them a eternal future, and one boy who is important in the story. When I heard that the game that was going to be an anime series, I was so happy. All the opening and ending themes are so amazing especially the anime opening and ending themes that just like in the game and some highlights about what is going to happen.Although I am a little upset about the changes little bit, there are some funny moments, dramatic moments, sad moments, and romantic moments that I really love it. I am so happy that I get to see these three couples that are finally together and get to move into their eternal future and tomorrow. There is one thing that disappoint me. Despite there precious moments only last for a while after Sorata was reborn as a 12 year old kid, he and Aion have to part ways because she's going to die. However, I know they will meet each other again and will be with each other within their hearts and souls . Even if they are apart, they will surely meet again. I'm so glad that everyone gets a future for each of them. I'm so glad that Natsuhiko and Mikoto are together especially that Sorata is living with them while building the rocket so they could go to the moon despite being ancestor and descendant as if they are like father and son, big brother and little brother, uncle and nephew, or cousin and cousin. He is also is living with Ron and Setsu who are with Natsuhiko. I am so glad that Nanami and Akito can start their relationship and their lives together especially Senri, who didn't get his precious memories of his brother erased as she cannot erase his memories a second time as he is able to have a fresh start with his big brother. I am so glad that Koharu and Kakeru can finally be together again. After all their hardships and obstacles, they can finally accept their weaknesses to each other, accept their true selves to each other, and they can finally confess their love for each other. And now that Koharu and Kakeru meet each other again, they can finally be together...forever. I just hope they might put a ova sequel of Norn9 the Last Era, a remake of Norn9 movie, or both of them. I am so glad that I watch this series of Norn9. I am so really glad that I get to know this series a lot especially Sorata's route which is the only route and spoilers that I ever know. I am so glad that I will watch this series no matter how many times that I watch it. I am so glad that I care and fell in love with Aion and Sorata together. And finally...I am so glad that I love Norn9 so very much and thank you for making this otome game and this anime amazing series that I ever seen. 5/10. I love shoujo/romance but honestly, they ruined the show. This anime had a lot of plotwise/worldbuilding potential. I know this is an otome adaption but still. I wish they could focus on all pairs and plot itself equally.

I also felt very bad for Sakuya. And I disliked Koharu and Kakeru from ep1. Nice music and artwork though.

the whole series was enjoyable, the soundtrack and animations were amazing and the characters were all pretty interesting, but I am just a sucker for happy romance endings.

Truly regretted watching the entire series, stayed for music.

Not too shabby for what I expected out of a reverse harem. Definitely felt rushed though, 2-cours would've done it wonders both for the story & the romantic developments between the pairings.

Also, shame the main paring was the most boring one to watch, with the cheesiest lines. Like most people here, I wish Akito & Nanami or Natsuhiko & Mikoto had the spotlight more.

Nanami x Akito was the best thing in this show, if only they were the main couple instead. Oh well. This show had some great moments, but not really anything else. Still worth a watch for my fangirl needs. Poor Sakuya though :s

Most Useless Character: Otomaru.
I normally wouldn't defend a character with pretty much no development, but hey, at least his ability was useful (communicating telepathically) :p

Cliche but awesome visuals and outstanding soundtrack!

Mikoto left Sakuya for the guy who kidnapped her? She must have had a strong Stockholm syndrome. He chose a fuqboi than Sakuya, the one who vowed to die for her. Justice.

Hmm. Wouldn't it be better if Kakeru died? Just to shift the atmosphere to a more tragic show than just plain cliche reverse harem story. The reverse harem material was only Mikoto. Lol.

Favorite ship: Shiranui x Akito

Favorite characters: Itsuki and Hei (not enough screen time ;-;)
